    • PURPOSE:To automatically control a sounding level, and to obtain the sounding level of an optimum level to meet the noise level of the surroundings by detecting the noise level of the background noise of the surrondings, and controlling the sounding level of a sounding body in accordance with this noise level. CONSTITUTION:A noise meter 1 constituted so as to detect the noise level of the background noise of the surrondings where the sounding body 2 such as a speaker, etc., is positioned. The output signal la of this noise meter 1 is inputted to a frequency analyzer 3, and the frequency of the output signal 3a of this frequency analyzer 3 is discriminated by a discrimination circuit 4. A discrimination signal 4a from this discrimination circuit 4 is inputted to a sounding volume switching circuit 5, and the switching signal 5a of this sounding volume switching circuit 5 is inputted to a sounding volume generator 6 connected to the sounding body 2. Accordingly, by frequency-analyzing the output signal 1a of the noise level meter 1 by the frequency analyzer 3, and discriminating the output signal 3a of its analyzed result by the discrimination circuit 4, and changing the sounding volume of the sounding volume generating device 6 through the sounding volume switching circuit 5 on the basis of the discrimination signal 4a, a sound based on the sounding volume can be sounded from the sounding body 2.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the condition of the deposits on furnace walls over the entire part of the furnace with high accuracy by determining an inert index by a fuzzy rule in accordance with the temp. detection data from sensors on the furnace walls in the method for using the above-mentioned data. CONSTITUTION:The temp. detection data 6a of the respective plural temp. sensors 6 provided on the walls of, for example, a blast furnace 1 are collected at 1-minute period by a temp. collector 10. a rank percent 10a which is the rank data for 8 hours is determined for each stage of the entire part of the furnace walls. This input data 10a is subjected to fuzzy computation by the 1st fuzzy rule with a step direction inert computing device 11 and a step direction active computing device 12 to determine the inactivity and activity over the entire step directions. The inactivity and activity over the entire part of the furnace are then determined by the 2nd fuzzy rule with the above-mentioned inactivity and activity as input data with an inert computing device 13 for the entire part of the furnace and an active computing device 14 for the entire part of the furnace. Further, the inert index and active index are computed by the state index of the deposits on the furnace wall with an inert tendency computing device 15 and an active tendency computing device 16, in order to determine the tendency over a long period of time.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the rolled product with high thickness accuracy to be always obtained, by inputting information in respect of the steel grade and specifications other than thickness signal of the thickness detector, to the X-ray monitoring controller, and by inputting the output of its operation to the automatic thickness controller. CONSTITUTION:The output of the thickness detector 5 for the thickness of steel material 2 after the hot rolling pass, and the change-over output of the X-ray monitoring change-over device 10, like as the change-over switch for example, for the steel grade, specifications, etc., are inputted to the X-ray monitoring controller 9. The output of the controller 9 is inputted to the automatic thickness controller 6; hereupon, the output of the controller 9 to be inputted to the controller 6 is obtained by processing so as to control the roll gap of work rolls of the rolling mill 1 to obtain the optimum biting thickness, taking the thickness at the point of time of detecting by the device 5 as the reference. By the present method, since the X-ray monitoring control, possible to obtain the constant thickness for every steel material 2, can be performed even if the steel grade is altered, the thickness control can be performed regardless of the steel grade or specifications.
