    • PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the thickness of sheet, by controlling the rolling reduction of the rolling mill using the optimum gain output to be operated from the output of thickness deviation, output of sheet thickness detector, output of rolling load and the output of the steel grade. CONSTITUTION:The sheet breadth, before being fed to the hot rolling pass to be performed by the rolling mill 1, is detected by the detector 3a of breadth detecting device 3, and is inputted to the microcomputer (MC)4' of the automatic thickness controlling device 4. Besides, the sheet thickness after the rolling work is detected by the detector 5a of thickness detecting device 5, and is compared with the reference value set in the thickness setter 6; thus obtained thickness deviation is inputted to MC4'. The breadth output and the thickness deviation output are also inputted to the optimum gain automatic selecting device 7, and additionally the output of the steel grade setter 14 is inputted to the device 7. The output of the device 7, the output of detector of the rolling load detecting device 10, and the output of detector of the draft position detecting device 11, are inputted to MC4', which then operates the output of roll speed detecting device 12, and output of thickness, breadth, steel grade, and rolling load, in order to obtain the deviation output, that is inputted to the control device 13; hereby, the control device 13 controls the draft position.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the rolled product with high thickness accuracy to be always obtained, by inputting information in respect of the steel grade and specifications other than thickness signal of the thickness detector, to the X-ray monitoring controller, and by inputting the output of its operation to the automatic thickness controller. CONSTITUTION:The output of the thickness detector 5 for the thickness of steel material 2 after the hot rolling pass, and the change-over output of the X-ray monitoring change-over device 10, like as the change-over switch for example, for the steel grade, specifications, etc., are inputted to the X-ray monitoring controller 9. The output of the controller 9 is inputted to the automatic thickness controller 6; hereupon, the output of the controller 9 to be inputted to the controller 6 is obtained by processing so as to control the roll gap of work rolls of the rolling mill 1 to obtain the optimum biting thickness, taking the thickness at the point of time of detecting by the device 5 as the reference. By the present method, since the X-ray monitoring control, possible to obtain the constant thickness for every steel material 2, can be performed even if the steel grade is altered, the thickness control can be performed regardless of the steel grade or specifications.

    • PURPOSE:To change the set point of the draft and rotation of the hot finishing mill in order to contrive the improvement of the rolling efficiency, by permitting the operator to set the variation of the draft of the final stand and the rotation frequency factor of each stand of the finishing mill group, in case of altering the lot according to the judgement of the operator. CONSTITUTION:When the higher rank computer 3 causes the trouble by some reason, the operator selects the system utilizing the microcomputer 6, by operating the selective relay 1. Then the operator sets the draft variation X6 of the final stand in the digital switch 7, sets the reflection X6' against the rotation in the digital switch 8, and sets the rotation frequency factor (hi) of each stand of the finishing mill group in the digital switch 9; and at the same time, the operator inputs these data to the microcomputer 6 by operating the relay 2. Hereby, the microcomputer 6 operates the draft variation of each stand and the rotation frequency of the lot material after these variations, and produces the output to each of the draft motor 4 and the rotation motor 5, in order to execute the alternation of the lot.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible the passage of a stable tail part through the preset volume operation alone, by providing a deceleration rate setter to each stand of rolling mills. CONSTITUTION:The operator judges product size, material quality and rolling conditions and sets volume controls 13, 14, 15 at proper values. For the head part and central part of a coil, mill speeds are finely adjusted, according to need, by means of successive mass controllers 7-9, and the fine adjustment signals of the mass controller are transmitted to mill motors by way of control circuit 1-3, whereby the fine acceleration and deceleration adjustment of the speeds is executed. At the time when the tail part of the strip leaves the (n-2) stand, a relay 4 acts to transmit the preset deceleration rate to the control circuit 1 via a volume control 13. This is then added with the signal from the mass controller 7 and is outputted to the mill motor, and the motor is decelerated by the volume amount. The same holds true of other n, (n-1) stands. When the tail end past-through the (n-1) stand, the relay 4 is reset and the value of the volume control 13 is cancelled.

    • PURPOSE:To roll the coil into the same breadth through the finishing pass, by calculating the roll gap of the edger in the roughing mill group at the coil tip and coil end according to the set value for the middle point of the coil, and by carrying out the timing rolling. CONSTITUTION:At the first, the set vale B0 of the roll gap to make breadth at the middle point of the coil to be the aim breadth is calculated. Next, the breadth contraction at the coil tip due to the interstand tension different according to the product size and the steel grade is specified, and the corrective amount bT of the finishing tension is calculated. Then, the breadth contraction at the coil end is specified, and the corrective amount bE is calculated. From these values, the set values for the coil tip and coil end are obtained by adding bT, bE, to the set value B0 for the middle point of the coil. Each of set values for the coil is inputted to CPU by the timing register attached to the horizontal roll 6, and the output of CPU is inputted to APC. Hereby, the breadth contraction at the coil tip due to the tension between finishing stands is corrected at the roughing pass, and the sheet breadth on the feed side of the finishing stand is spread as far as the breadth contraction than that of the middle point of the coil, and then, the sheet breadth at the tip and middle point of the coil are equalized. Further, the breadth at the coil end is also equalized to that at the middle point of the coil.

CONSTITUTION:When a request for reading out registers containing a return address and a work area is inputted to a control device 3, the control device 3 derives addresses of the registers containing a return address stored at last in a return address store area 1, and the work area, from a write address store register 5 of the return address store area, instructs the corresponding contents of the return address store area 1 to a memory control device 2, and subtracts by a portion which has read out the contents of the register 5. In case there is no address of the return address, an interruption is generated, the contents of a register 10 for storing the number of tims of transfer are referred to, the contents of an address group written at last in a return address group save area 11 are transferred to the area 1, the contents of the register 10 are subtracted by ''1'', and the contents of a register 9 for storing a write address of the save area are subtracted by a store area portion.
