摘要： PURPOSE:To make the drying/curing characteristics and coating efficiency of a film excellent by scattering a liquid curing catalyst into paint atomizing air in a mist form and performing painting using an electrostatic painting method while said catalyst is brought into contact with atomized paint. CONSTITUTION:Urethane resin paint utilizing the reaction of polyisocyanate is applied using a curing catalyst (e.g., trimethylamine) to promote the drying and curing of the paint. At this time, the liquid curing catalyst from the paint atomizing air hose 14 from a hose 2 is dispersed in a mixer 10 to be supplied to a painting gun 1. The urethane resin paint supplied from a hose 3 is emitted while atomized in the painting gun 1 by air containing the atomized curing catalyst. Further, the static electricity obtained by a high voltage generator 19 is imparted to atomized paint particles as DC high voltage by the electrode 20 provided to the leading end of the gun 1. As a result, the paint film can be rapidly cured at room temp. and thick painting becomes possible and coating efficiency is enhanced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate defects in the appearance of a coated film by painting reactive injection molded articles with a colored polyurethane resin paint and curing the paint in an amine atmosphere of a gaseous phase state, then coating a non-colored thermosetting resin paint, etc., thereon. In this coating method, the chipping resistant coating consists of a composition of (A) an epoxy resin with a number average molecular weight of 500 to 5000, containing a hydroxyl group, which is obtained by allowing 10 to 70 pts.wt. of a cyclic ester to react chemically with 100 pts.wt. of the resin solid portion of the epoxy resin with a hydroxyl group, (B) a polyester polyol resin with a number average molecular weight of 400 to 1000 containing a hydroxyl group, and (C) a polyisocyanate compound with a blocked isocyanate group. In addition, the isocyanate group of the component (C) is equivalent to 0.5 to 2.0 for one equivalent of the hydroxyl group of the components (A), (B).

摘要： PURPOSE:To form a coating film with the adhesion stabilized on a chromium- plated surface by applying a paint contg. a resin having specified surface tension, elongation percentage and acid value as the undercoat and a two-pack polyurethane resin paint as the overcoat on the surface. CONSTITUTION:An undercoat contg. a resin having 20-32dyne/cm surface tension, >=80% elongation and >=20 acid value is applied on a chromium-plated surface. The undercoat consists essentially of a vehicle component and an org. solvent and is added, if necessary, with a colored pigment, an extender pigment, an additive, etc. A two-pack polyurethane resin paint is then applied as the overcoat. A two-pack polyurethan paint contg. polyacryl polyol or polyester polyol as one component is preferably used as the overcoat. The formed coats are dried at about 50-100 deg.C for about 20-100min. A coating film having strong binding power and stabilized adhesion to the chromium-plated surface is obtained by this method even if there is a contaminant.

A two-pack polyurethane resin paint is then applied as the overcoat. A coating film having strong binding power and adhesion to the chromium-plated surface is obtained by this method even if there is a contaminant.

摘要： PURPOSE:To control the foaming of a coat due to properties of moldings and enable curing at low temperatures in a short time by specifying the components of a polyurethane resin primer which is cured in an amine atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Urethane RIM, fiber-reinforced urethane RIM, etc. are available as reactive injection moldings. Polyurethane resin primer which is cured in an amine atmosphere of gas phase contains polyol and polyisocyanate having 20-160 of hydroxyl group value and 1,000-10,000 of average molecular weight at Tg: -40-30 deg.C. Further, the ratio of an OH equivalent to an isocyanate equivalent is 0.5:1-2:1. On this coat, a heat curing resin paint or polyurethane resin paint is applied as a finishing paint. Then it is thermally cured at 80-140 deg.C for 20-60min. Consequently, a coat which can meet the flexibility of urethane RIM is formed.
