    • A device for measuring the distortion factor of an analog input signal contains a frequency multiplier (12) to generate a sampling signal with a frequency equal to the frequency of the input signal multiplied by a factor N, an A/D converter (11) for consecutive conversion of instantaneous values of the input signal into digital values, a memory (13) to store the converted digital values at specific address positions in the memory, a D/A converter (15) to read out the digital values stored in the memory in the correct phase sequence at a specific read-out frequency and to convert the read-out digital values into analog values, a filter (3a) which is tuned to a frequency equal to the read-out frequency divided by N and which filters out a fundamental oscillation component from the input signal, and a level meter (6) to measure a level of the output signal which is supplied by the filter. The distortion factor is calculated from a measured level of the output signal from the filter and the level of the fundamental oscillation component.

    • PURPOSE: To ensure quick response regardless of the current limit value when the output voltage is altered. CONSTITUTION: Output from an output amplifier 1 is connected through a current detection circuit 2 with an output terminal 3. Output from the current detection circuit 2 is connected with a buffer amplifier 4 having unit amplification factor and contact (a) of a switch 5 having contact (b) connected with the output of the butter amplifier 4. The switch 5 is controlled by a control circuit 6 such that a common contact (c) can be connected alternatively with the contact (a) or (b) and a high capacity capacitor 7 is connected with the common contact (c). When the set value of output voltage is altered, the control circuit 6 receives information on an input signal line 6a and delivers a control signal on an output line 6b for a predetermined time. The control signal is applied to the switch 5 and the common contact (c) is switched from the contact (a) to contact (b).

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a logarithmic transformer which is broad in its dynamic range and high in its precison by amplifying and detecting the AC component of a voltage drop at both the ends of a diode by an AC current, and taking out the DC component of the voltage drop at both ends of the diode at the time when detected voltage is kept constant as the logarithmic transformed output of an input signal. CONSTITUTION:A control current I1 is adjusted by a DC amplifier 5 so that detected output coincides with reference voltage Vr. Namely, the feedback DC current I1 is increased or decreased according to the value of input Ac voltage v1, and AC voltage v2 impressed on a diode pair D1,D2 anti-parallel-connected in the viewpoint of AC is adjusted so as to be a fixed value. Accordingly, a DC voltage drop in the diode pair D1,D2 series-connected in the viewpoint of DC is proportional to the logarithm of an AC current i2, and is proportional to the logarithm of the input AC voltage v1. Here, by using two pieces of the diodes D1,D2 anti-parallel-connected in the view point of AC, interference between an AC circuit and a DC circuit is prevented, and waveform distortion is removed, and large conversion gain is obtained. Thus, a loga rithm conversion characteristic which is broad in its dynamic range and is correct can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To realize a measurement with a high precision and an analysis of a specific higher harmonics at the same time, simplify the structure to facilitate an easy handling, by carrying out a digital process based on the input signal along with use of a filter. CONSTITUTION:The input signal is led into the digital processing circuit 10 via the variable attenuator 1 and switch S1 and then supplied to the level meter 6 via the switch S2 and BPF3a after a prescribed process. In the circuit 10, the input signal receives an n-multiplication to be supplied to the A/D converter 11 of the input signal in the form of a sampling pulse. The output of conversion is stored successively in the storage circuit 13 then read by the clock pulse of a prescribed frequency to be supplied to the BPF3a after D/A conversion 15. In this case, the control circuit 16 performs a writing to the circuit 13 in accordance with the conversion end signal supplied from the converter 11 and then reads it by means of the clock pulse supplied from the generator 14.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify tuning operation and to measure even a low level distortion precisely by connecting filters in cascade connection and by eliminating the tuning operation for one filter. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is inputted to a variable attenuator 13 and an amplifier 14, through a buffer amplifier 12 wherein a fundamental wave is attenuated. The output of the amplifier 14 is inputted to a level meter 18 through a fundamental wave removing circuit 15 and directly or via a variable attenuator 16 and an amplifier 17. In the circuit 15, the input signal is converted in an A/D converter 20, aided by the output of a multiplying circuit 21 to which the output from the variable attenuator 11 is supplied, and the result is stored in a memory circuit 22. The stored value in the memory circuit is read out by the output of a clock pulse generator 23, and inputted to a filter 25 via a D/A converter 24. Thus, the fundamental wave is attenuated. Then, the distortion factor can be obtained from the amount of attenuation in the variable attenuators 13 and 16 and the indication of the level meter 18, in the case switches S1-S4 are changed.
