    • A vehicle steering control device is provided that suppresses changes in the steering force accompanying the shock transmitted from the road surface during the steering wheel return operation. The vehicle steering device is a steer-by-wire steering device where a steering wheel receiving the steering input which is transmitted electronically to the steering unit which turns steered road wheels of the vehicle. The steering reaction force correction (Gf x F) corresponding to road surface reaction force F is applied to the steering wheel. The device includes a turn/return sensor that senses turn/return of the steering wheel, and during return of steering wheel, road surface reaction force feedback gain Gf is made smaller than the initial turning.

Fructose is separated from mixtures thereof with glucose and/or other mono- or di-saccharides by two processes, (A) when in an anhydrous mixture with glucose, by treating the mixture with anhydrous ethanol containing anhydrous CaCl 2 , the amount of ethanol being at least 5 times the estimated weight of fructose in the mixture and the amount of CaCl 2 being at least 60% by wt. the estimated amount of fructose, whereby an ethanol-soluble addition compound of fructose is formed and undissolved glucose is filtered off, or (B) when in an aqueous solution with other mono- or di-saccharides, by adding 15-100% by wt., based on estimated amount of fructose, of anhydrous CaCl 2 or SrCl 2 to the solution and then adding sufficient anhydrous or substantially anhydrous ethanol to the solution to bring the aqueous content thereof into the range 5-30% by vol., based on total volume of solvent, whereby the addition compound of fructose and CaCl 2 or SrCl 2 is precipitated, if necessary after seeding with crystals of the addition compound, recovering the addition compound by filtration, washing with 85% by vol. ethanol and drying. In process (B), ethanol can be replaced by an ethanol/ methanol mixture containing no more than 50% by vol. methanol. The fructose/CaCl 2 addition compound may be precipitated from the ethanol solution obtained by process (A) by adding sufficient water thereto to bring the aqueous content to 5-30% by vol., based on total volume. It is preferred to effect all the above processes at 10-25‹ C. Fructose may be liberated from the addition compound with CaCl 2 or SrCl 2 by dissolving the precipitates obtained by the above processes in an approximately equal amount by wt. of water and removing CaCl 2 or SrCl 2 by ion-exchange treatment or by adding an alkali metal sulphate to precipitate CaSO 4 or SrSO 4 and, after filtering, concentrating the aqueous fructose solution. Examples describe the separation of fructose from glucose and from invert sugar.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain shaped foods with coating having excellent throat passing properties, correspondence to taste, following properties of cost depending upon change in amount, etc., and to distribute the foods in a frozen state by coating the surface of shaped foods such as boiled rice with a liquid substance, prepared by adding a film-quality improver to TOFU (bean curd), soybean milk or separated soybean protein, as a coating material and heat-treating the foods. CONSTITUTION:The surface of void or non-void shaped foods such as boiled rice, potatoes, seed fruits, beans, fishes and shellfishes, animal meat, eggs, vegetables or fruits shaped into any form such as cylinder or sphere at 100 deg.C-frozen temperature is coated with a liquid substance or pasty substance, which is prepared by adding a film-quality improving agent such as xanthan gum, derivative of devil's tongue, gelatinized starch or fatty acid monoglyceride to TOFU, soybean milk or separated soybean protein, as a coating material or sprayed, and the foods are heat-treated, optionally seasoned and frozen to give shaped foods with coating.
