摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively smoothly pass a tag between other communication lines by forming a connector of the tag and the opposite side part into tapered shapes. SOLUTION: When communication lines 3 are extracted, a tip part of a tag easily goes between the communication lines 3, even if the communication lines 3 are closely entangled, and the tag is capable of comparatively smoothly passing between the communication lines 3. When the communication lines 3 are extracted from the closely entangled communication lines 3, the tag is hardly caught by other communication lines 3. It is desirable that an inclined angle of a tapered shape is 40 deg. to 20 deg.. The discrimination tag 11 is made of polyethylene resin and has a rectangular shape, upper and lower surfaces are plane, and a rear part, that is, both of left and right side surfaces of an opposite side part of a connector 4 is made a tapered surface 13. A sloped angle θ is 30 deg. and a width of the tip is equal to outer diameters of the communication lines 3. In extracting work of the communication lines 3, the tag is hardly caught by other communication lines 3, the extracting work can be smoothly and efficiently performed and a reading work for a two-dimensional cord is easy to be performed.

A skew angle to be an angle formed by tangential lines each other at both ends of a two-dimensional cord displayed on a circular arc surface is desirable to be 35 to 20 deg.. A discrimination tag 11 is made of polyethylene resin and has a rectangular shape, and a length in the direction of the through hole 12 is 10 mm. Both of upper and lower surfaces of the discrimination tag 11 are made projected circular arc surfaces 15 in the vertical direction, the two-dimensional cord is displayed at the center of the circular arc surface 15 and the skew angle is 30 deg.. The discrimination tag becomes easy to pass between closely entangled communication lines without damaging reading accuracy by a two-dimensional cord reader.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure tensile force and shrinkage force without embedding a tension member into a sheath and to reduce the outside diameter of a cable by coating a laminate of coated optical fiber ribbons and a ribbon-like rod tension member plastic material to unitize the laminate, then housing the unit into a sheath. SOLUTION: The ribbon-like rod (tension member) 13 made of FRP is arranged at a center and the 8-core coated optical fiber ribbons 12 are laminated in the state of holding the rod with three sheets each of the coated fiber ribbons. The laminate is coated with a UV curing resin and is integrated to form the unit 15. The unit is housed into the sheath 14 of a polyethylene tube, by which the optical fiber cable of 48 cores (six sheets of 8-core ribbons) is constituted. Between the inside surface of the sheath and the unit 15 is a gap. Since the coated fiber ribbons 12 are integrated with the ribbon-like rod 13 and is reinforced, microbending hardly occurs. The ribbon-like rod 13 functions also as a resistor to the shrinkage force of the sheath 14.
