    • PURPOSE:To automatically conduct all processings from sampling to transmission of analyzed values by dropping and positioning a probe after sampling in a converter, and then cutting the sample. CONSTITUTION:A thermocouple 2 for measuring the solidifying temperature is inserted from above a sample chamber 1. A temperature measuring part of a probe P is set 20-30mm away from the lower end of the sample chamber 1. After sampling in the converter by means of the probe P, the probe P is dropped. An upper part of the probe P where the outer diameter is changed is positioned by a positioning clamp 6, and then the sample is cut. The sample is separated from the sample chamber 1 through reversal and by a knocker 62 and dropped into a direction controller. The direction of the sample is determined by a baffle plate set in the upper part of the controller so as to position the part of a smaller diameter down. Then, the sample is sent to an air lift by two rolls of the same diameter, and the length is detected. The sample is subsequently carried with pressure to a cooling tank by the air in a pneumatic carrier 61, and treated through cooling and blowing processes. Thereafter, the sample is automatically cut, polished, cooled and the analyzed value of the sample is transmitted.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a probe housing cabinet which allows extremely simple replenishment with fresh probes, is capable of housing the many probes with a small space and is rapidly exchangeable together with the housing cabinet when empty by forming a probe housing section as the housing cabinet of simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: This probe housing cabinet consists of plural stages of probe housing racks 25 which incline downward toward the front surface and are disposed apart prescribed intervals spaced from each other in a vertical direction, side plates 21 which support both side ends of these probe housing racks 25, slide rails 22 which are mounted on the outer surfaces at both ends of the side plates 21, gate plates 23 which are supported at the side plates 21 vertically slidably relative to the respective probe housing racks 25 and strikers 23a which are mounted at the gate plates to be vertically slid 23. As a result, the probes P are easily and rapidly taken out of the housing cabinet.
