摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry the inside of a cable at all times by installing air supply sections and exhaust sections conducted with the inside of a coating at proper intervals in the longitudinal direction of the cable for suspension structure, stationarily forwarding a dry gas into the cable and discharging the gas containing moisture. SOLUTION: Air supply sections 15 and exhaust sections 16 conducted with the inside of a cable coating layer are mounted alternately at proper intervals in the longitudinal direction of the cable 13 for the suspension structure. The air supply section 15 and the exhaust section 16 are formed of a air supply cover and an exhaust cover cylindrically constituted by joining both ends of the half member of a cylindrical body. A supplied-air drier 23 is installed to the tower top 20 of a suspension bridge 19, and a dry gas is flowed into the coating layer of the cable 13 from the air-supply covers. The dry air flowed into the cable 13 is flowed into the clearances of metal wires, and discharged from the exhaust ports of the exhaust covers. Accordingly, the dry gas flowed into the cable is flowed smoothly, and moist environment in the cable for the structure can be improved into dry environment difficult to rust.

The reinforcing wire 2 is drawn out from a wire bobbin on which the reinforcing wire 2 is wound, and after the reinforcing wire 2 is fixed at its tail end to the lower end of the columnar structure 1 with a specified tension given with a tensioning device, the reinforcing wire 2 is wound, with its engaging parts 2a and 2b being engaged with each other, spirally with a winding frame turned and moved upward by an elevating device. Thereby, the columnar structure 1 can be reinforced efficiently by an extremely simple operation of works.

SOLUTION: A general part cable 1 is formed such that a number of galvanized metallic wires 1a are bundled and corrosion prevention covering of colored fluororesin 1c is applied on a polyethylene resin covering 1b applied on the outer periphery thereof. At the terminal part of a colored covering cable, the galvanized metallic wire 1a is exposed in a position wherein the end part of a corrosion prevention covering material is inserted in a socket 2, and fixed to the socket 2 by casting of a zinc copper alloy 2a and filling of epoxy resin 2b. Caulking material 3 is applied on the front end of a mouth part 2d of the socket 2 so that a difference in a level with the surface of a colored covering cable corrosion prevention covering material is smoothed. The outer periphery thereof is covered with a polyethylene heat shrinkage material 4 throughout a range between the socket mouth and a cable covering material, and further the outer periphery thereof is covered with a mouth covering material formed of a colored fluororesin tubular heat shrinkage material 5.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect disconnection of the element wires of a parallel-wire cable that is a hanging member of a bridge, such as a cable stayed bridge or a suspension bridge, or of a construction. SOLUTION: Part of a cover 5 at a position that is 5m or so away from the end 3 of cable is peeled, an ultrasonic probe 7 is contacted with the side of an element wire 2 for examination, and ultrasonic pulses of a predetermined frequency are input to the element wire 2 by an ultrasonic flaw detector 8. The input ultrasonic pulses propagate within the element wire 2 toward a socket 3 and, if the element wire 2 is ruptured, are reflected at the rupturing point; if the element wire 2 is not ruptured, they are reflected at an element wire terminal point 3 inside the socket. The reflected pulses are detected by the ultrasonic probe 7 and converted into voltage signals by the ultrasonic flaw detector 8, and a display device 9 is used to determine whether or not there is a rupture and displays the rupturing position. If there are no reflected waves, the element wire 2 is judged to be ruptured diagonally.
