    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the weldless pipe joint employing expansive mortar, which facilitates works for a steel pipe joint, is excellent in execution efficiency, is reliable in water cut-off properties, and is furthermore high in joint strength. SOLUTION: This invention is concerned with the weldless steel pipe joint employing mortar where a cut-off member 3 is provided for the end parts of steel pipes 1 and 1 which are mutually adjacent with their pipe ends faced to each other, the steel pipes 1 and 1 are covered by a cylindrical outer pipe 2 which covers the outer circumferences of the joint parts of the steel pipes 1 and 1, is provided with flange parts 4 at both the inner sides of it, an air vent hole 5 at its upper part, and with an injection hole 6 at its lower part, and can be divided in the circumferential direction, cut-off members 7 are interposed between each flange part 4 and the outer pipe 2, and expansive mortar 10 which is so blended that expansive pressure is developed as specified, is filled in the inside of a joint space 9 formed between the outer pipe 2 and each steel pipe 1 and 1. Besides, the aforesaid joint also represents the weldless steel pipe joint employing expansive mortar, in which ribs are welded over the outer circumferences of the steel pipes 1 and 1 in the inside of the joint space 9.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a tube joint of high sealing performance which may hardly release a sheath tube from a main tube even when bending occurs particularly at bent portions, deformed tube portions, or by a wheel load due to earthquake or ground subsidence. CONSTITUTION:The ends of two tubes to be connected together are inserted into a sheath tube 3 and made to butt against each other, a packing which is flexible and formed in a tube body is installed on the outer surface of a tube and a metal or resin rigid ring is installed on one or both front and rear sides of the packing, and the back face of the packing formed in cylindrical body is tightened by bolts 8 through an angular packing compressive ring 9 to compress it in longitudinal direction. In this case, the packing is formed so that it is provided with at least a set of bent grooves which are deformed in a triangles in cross-section to the outside in the center so as to expand an angular part. Also a release preventing annular ring 17 is installed on the back face of an angular packing compressing ring, so as to generate a surface pressure on the internal surface of the sheath tube on the edge of the angular part and also to generate a surface pressure on the outer surface of the main tubes at the skirt parts or bottom parts on both sides, and bolted to the sheath tube. In addition, a fixing stopper 18 is also arranged.
