摘要： This coal upgrading method comprises a drying step, a carbonization step, and a cooling step, and involves: (1) in the drying step, classifying coal into coarse coal and fine coal while also drying the coal, and using heat obtained by combusting at least some of the fine coal and at least some of a carbonization gas as a heat source for carrying out the drying or carbonization; and/or (2) in the cooling step, classifying while also cooling char to thereby separate fine char from the char, and using heat obtained by combusting at least some of the fine char and at least some of a carbonization gas as a heat source for carrying out the drying or carbonization.

摘要： [Problem] To provide a waste gasification and melting furnace that promotes the drying and pyrolytic decomposition of waste in the shaft section, making it possible to limit the conveyance of moisture and volatile components to the bottom of the blast furnace and to reduce the consumption of extra coke. [Solution] A waste gasification and melting furnace (1) provided with: a shaft section (2), which has a waste placement port (21) and a furnace gas outlet (22) at the upper end and an opening (23) from which waste is discharged at the bottom end and which dries and pyrolytically decomposes the waste that has been filled therein; a melting furnace section (4), which is disposed so that the furnace core is offset from the shaft section (2) and which has, at the upper end, an opening (46) where the pyrolitically decomposed waste and a carbonaceous solid fuel are supplied and, at the bottom end of the blast furnace, a tuyere (42) where oxygen-enriched air for combustion is blown in; and a communicating section (5) that connects the opening (23) at the bottom of the shaft section to the opening (46) at the upper end of the melting furnace section. The furnace has a configuration wherein the communicating section is provided with: a carbonization grate section (3) disposed at a position that accepts the weight of the waste filled in the shaft section (2); a ventilation device (3) that sends air for drying and pyrolytic decomposition from the carbonization grate section (3) into the shaft section (2) so as to account for 60% or more of the total amount of oxygen blown into the furnace; and a supply device (3) that supplies pyrolytically decomposed waste on the carbonization grate section to the opening (46) at the upper end of the melting furnace section (4).

摘要： A method for producing modified coal, said method comprising: a first drying step (S11) for heating air taken from the outside, fluidizing high-water content coal using the heated air to give a fluidized coal bed, and evaporating moisture from the high-water content coal in the fluidized coal bed to give primarily dried coal; a second drying step (S12) for indirectly heating the primarily dried coal, further evaporating moisture from the primarily dried coal to give dried cool and, at the same time, recovering first steam evaporated from the primarily dried coal; a dry distillation step (S20) for dry distilling the dried coal to give modified coal and, at the same time, recovering, as exhaust gas, combustion exhaust gas that remains after supplying dry distillation heat required for dry distillation of the dried coal to thereby generate second steam; and a cooling step (S30) for cooling the modified coal. In the first drying step, the air is indirectly heated by the first steam. In the second drying step, the primarily dried coal is indirectly heated using the second steam.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasifying melting furnace that can accelerate drying and thermal decomposition of wastes at a shaft part, prevent water and volatile components from being carried in to a furnace bottom, and reduce unnecessary consumption of coke.SOLUTION: A waste gasifying melting furnace includes: a shaft part 2 for drying and thermal decomposing wastes charged therein; a melting furnace part 4 which has an opening part 41 supplied with the thermally decomposed wastes and carbon-based solid fuel on an upper side and a tuyere 42 for blowing oxygen-enriched air for combustion on a furnace bottom side; and a communication part 5 which connects a bottom part-side opening part of the shaft part and an upper-side opening part of the melting furnace part 4. The communication part includes: a carbonizing fire lattice part 3B arranged at a position where a load of the wastes charged in the shaft part is received; an air blowing device which blows air for drying and thermal decomposition from the carbonizing fire lattice part into the shaft part so as to be occupied by 60% or more of the total amount of oxygen blown in the furnace; and a supply device for supplying thermally decomposed wastes over the carbonizing fire lattice part to the upper-side opening part of the melting furnace part.

The gas washing can be done by a flushing utilizing an ammonia water generated in the coke oven. Also, after the ammonia water flushing, an electric dust collection is performed.
