摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a flexible polyurethane foam good in physical properties such as, repulsive resistance compression set, etc. CONSTITUTION:A flexible polyurethane foam is produced by reacting a polyisocyanate component, a polyol component, a blowing agent, a catalyst, and a foam stabilizer. The polyisocyanate component comprises 50wt.% or higher diphenylmethane diisocyanate and/or polymethylene polyphenylene polyisocyanate or its modification and 50wt.% or lower other polyisocyanate. The polyol component is a polymer polyol obtd. by polymerizing a vinyl monomer in a specific polyol (a1) and/or another specific polyol (a2) or is a mixture of the polymer polyol with the polyol (a1) and or/the polyol (a2). The blowing agent is water.

SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for production of the high elasticity polyurethane foam by reacting a high molecular weight active hydrogen compound having two or more active hydrogen functional groups reactive to an isocyanate group with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a catalyst and a blowing agent, wherein the high molecular weight active hydrogen compound is a mixture of the polyols comprising (A) a polyoxyalkylene polyol obtained by ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether in the presence of an initiator using a sodium or potassium based catalyst and (B) a polyoxyalkylene polyol obtained by ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether in the presence of an initiator using a multi-metal cyanide complex or a cesium catalyst, wherein the mixing ratio (A)/(B) (weight ratio) is 5/95-90/10.

SOLUTION: (A) An active hydrogen compound having two or more of active hydrogen-containing functional groups and reactive with an isocyanate group (e.g. a polyol having an OH-value of 200-1000 mg KOH/g) and (B) a polyisocyanate compound are made to react with each other in the presence of (C) a foaming agent composed of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoroethane (C1 ) and 1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane (C2 ), and optionally further a 3-6C hydrocarbon (C3 ) (e.g. a foaming agent containing C1 , C2 and C3 at ratios (C3 /C1 /C2 ) of (1-20)/(15-80)/(1-75) by weight. Thus, for example, a hard polyurethane foam can be produced.

Examples of the blowing agent area CFC substitutes, other halohydrocarbons, and 5C or higher hydrocarbons.

The polyol ingredient comprises a polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene polyol (a) having a functionality of 3, a hydroxyl value of 20-40, and a content of terminal hydroxyethylene groups of 5-25wt.% and a polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene polyol (b) having a functionality higher than 4, a hydroxyl value of 20-45, a content of terminal hydroxyethylene groups of 5-25wt.%, the (a)/(b) weight ratio being 30/70 to 85/15.
