    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample chip preparing method, capable of effectively preventing the mutual cross contamination of specimen solutions due to the excess specimen solution bonded to the tip part of a dispensing needle and capable of enhancing the dispensing density of the specimen solution, with respect to a glass substrate to ensure a large number of specimens by a reduced number of chips. SOLUTION: The tip surface of the dispensing needle, having the specimen solution stored in the slivered groove extending axially to the tip part thereof, is brought into contact with a specimen substrate to dispense a very small amount of the specimen solution to form a specimen chip. The tip part of the dispensing needle is immersed in the specimen solution, to store the specimen solution in the slivered groove and the tip of the dispensing needle is brought into contact with a water-absorbing member, to remove the excess specimen solution stuck to the tip part of the dispensing needle. As a result of this constitution, when the tip of the dispensing needle is brought into contact with the specimen substrate to dispense the specimen solution, the dispensing amount of the specimen solution is made almost constant, to prevent the mutual cross contamination of the specimen solutions.
