A second deodorizing apparatus includes a means for adding alkali to each of water storage parts and a third deodorizing apparatus includes a first parallel flow packed bed to which alkali is not added and a second similar bed to which alkali is added.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the pH of circulating water to be controlled by supplying a raw gas containing a nitogenous odor to a carrier-packed biological deodorizing means containing water circulating in a packed bed packed with a carrier for microorganisms and introducing the raw gas having passed through the packed bed into an adsorptive deodorizing means and/or a chemical deodorizing means. SOLUTION: A malodor gas containing ammonia in a high concentration is introduced from a raw gas supply pipe 2 into a biological deodorizing tower 1. A valve 2a is installed in the raw gas supply pipe 2 and is closed or opened to cotrol the introduction of the malodor gas into the biological deodorizing tower 1. The biological deodorizing tower 1 is equipped with a packed bed 3 packed with a carrier for microorganisms, a circulation line 4, a pump P, and a water storage section 8. The raw gas deodorized by passing through the packed bed 3 is introduced as a treated gas through an exhaust pipe 5 into an activecarbon adsorption tower 6 where to be treated with active carbon. A pH sensor 7 is arranged in the water storage section 3 to measure the pH of circulating water and causes a control unit 9 to output control signals for opening or closing valves 2a, 10a, and 11a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a precoated steel sheet having excellent antibacterial property, corrosion resistance and weather resistance for a long time by forming a chemically treated film on the surface of a steel sheet, then forming a lower coating film and an upper coating film thereon, and incorporating a specified amt. of an inorg. antibacterial agent and an additive to improve weather resistance into the upper coating film. SOLUTION: Upper and lower coating resin layers are formed on a steel sheet. For the upper coating film, 0.3 to 7 pts.wt. of an inorg. antibacterial agent is compounded to 100 pts.wt. of the resin solid content. By controlling the compounding ratio to the above range, an enough effect to prevent mold is obtd. as well as the aggregating power of the resin is maintained. Further, an additive to suppress changes in colors by light is added by 0.1 to 3 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the resin solid content. As for the resin for the upper coating layer, a polyester resin or an acryl resin generally used for building materials is used. The inorg. antibacterial agent is added by fast stirring method. The upper coating film is formed to 8 to 33 μm thickness, considering the workability of coating and the appearance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cause a nitrification reaction even at a water storage part of circulating water and to efficiently deodorize biologically the waste gas containing a high concn. gaseous ammonia by providing the carrier for carrying an ammonia decomposable microorganism in the water storage part for recovered water passed through the packed layer in a packed column. SOLUTION: The waste gas sent from a waste gas supply pipe 2 to a biologically deodorizing column 1 is deodorized by transferring the ammonia to treating water, according to circumstances, by subjecting other nasty smelling material to decomposition treatment while passing through a packed layer 3 and discharged from a discharge pipe 10. On the other hand, the treating water sprinkled to the packed layer 3 from a sprinkling line 11 and a sprinkling pump 12, etc., is recovered to a water storage tank 4 and stored after passing through the packed layer 3. Here, the carrier for carrying the ammonia decomposable microorganism, for example a fluid carrier 81, is added in the recovered water in the water storage tank 4. The dissolved ammonia in the recovered water is decomposed or converted to other material by the ammonia decomposable microorganism to prevent from being vaporized again in a form of ammonia.

SOLUTION: A malodorous gas is introduced into a packed layer 2 from a gas introducing inlet 51 and decomposed by microorganism carried on a carrier in the packed layer 2 and then, as a treated gas, discharged out of a treated gas discharge port 52. A circulation line 9 for sprinkling circulation water is connected to the packed layer 2 and a water storage part 3 for storing circulation water (sprinkled water) is formed in the bottom part of a deodorization tower 1. Water in the water storage part 3 is introduced into the circulation line 9 by a water sprinkling pup 5 and sprayed on the uppermost part of the packed layer 2 from a water spraying nozzle 6. Further, a line 11 to introduce make-up water from a make-up water introducing inlet 55 is connected to the circulation line 9 for sprinkling water and at the same time a valve 10 is opened or closed corresponding to the pH of the upper part of the packed layer 2 to supply make-up water is to the line 11.

Then the treating water 41 is sprinkled to the packed layer 3 from a sprinkling line 4 to dissolve the ammonia in the treating water 41. Thereafter, the ammonia concn. in the raw gas for the acclimatization is regulated to maintain the amount of the nitrifying bacterium in constant while measuring the pH value of the drain stored in a water storage tank 5 with a pH meter.
