摘要： A position control device includes a fluid-operated directional control valve for controlling the position of the piston of a cylinder assembly under fluid pressure in response to a control signal from an electronic controller. The position of the piston is predicted based on the control signal. A position detector detects when the piston has actually reached a predetermined position. When it is detected that the piston has actually reached the predetermined position, the predicted position of the piston is corrected. The electronic controller applies a control signal to the directional control valve so that the predicted position as corrected will be equalized to a target position for the piston. The predetermined position is a substantially intermediate position of the stroke of the piston. The directional control valve comprises a solenoid-controlled valve for controlling the flow rate of the fluid depending on the magnitude of a current supplied to the solenoid-operated valve. The position of the piston is calculated based on the magnitude of the current and a period of time during which the current is supplied to the solenoid-operated valve. An automotive suspension system incorporating the position control device is also disclosed.

摘要： The hydraulic pressure control regulates the servo force for the gearchange clutches from a start point to a programmed point to cover the time delay to reach the new gear ratio. A simple hydraulic control monitors the output speed of the engine (17) and the output speed of the transmission (7) to provide a constantly updated transmission ratio for the processor control. The sensors are simple tachometer type of sensors which provide instant read-outs. The gearchange sequence is monitored and compared with programmed values to enable the control to correct for the effects of viscosity ie. to achieve programmed gearchange times with different viscosities of the hydraulic fluid.

摘要： A control procedure for a lock-up clutch in an auto gearbox uses the following steps. First, a deviation in slip factor between the actual value and the target value is calculated. Then the incremental change in slip factor from its previous measured value is calculated. Then a target tracking value is calculated from the slip factor deviation, along with a stabilising value to compensate for the disturbance that is applied to the control system by the "back value"???? and the incremental change in slip factor. From these two comes the controlled variable for a hydraulic pressure adjuster(71). Then the error in the stipulated transmission function model is estimated and the controlled variable is corrected.
