摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a lower-priced, simplified cornering power measuring method, and detect cornering power by this method and determine rear wheel steering quantity according to the detected value as to improve the operability and safety of a vehicle on the road surface with any friction coefficient. CONSTITUTION:A yaw rate and lateral acceleration generated to a vehicle at the time of steering a steering wheel are computed from vehicle items and the like including a steering wheel angle and cornering power as variables, on the basis of a transfer function, and the computed value is compared with the value from a yaw rate sensor 5. In the case of the values being different, a variable in a calculation expression is changed appropriately to eliminate the difference, and the variable at the difference eliminated time is detected (9) as the cornering power of front-rear wheels. Using this detected cornering power value, the steering angle ratio (k) of a side slip angle 0 is further determined (10), and the steering quantity of rear wheels is determined (11).

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce generation of chips when an opening end mounting member such as reverse plate and transparent protective film are loaded into or unloaded from a case, without reducing an antichattering effect by catching the reverse plate and a transparent protective plate on a case with a pawl. CONSTITUTION:A reverse plate 3 and a transparent protective plate 4 are fitted with pawls 3b and 4b. A box 1f and elastic rib 1e engaging with the pawl are integrally mounted on the side part of an instrument having case 1. The pawl 3b of the reverse plate 3 is inserted into the box section 1f of the case 1, engaged by the elastic rib 1e and after the engaging thereof, locking and chattering prevention are performed. The surface contact between the pawl section 3b and the elastic rib 1e minimizes generation of chips. The pawl 4b of a transparent protective plate 4 is engaged with the box of the case 1 likewise.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve maneuverability by judging the angle of lateral slip from the yaw rate and lateral acceleration estimated from car speed and the front wheel steering angle, actual yaw rate and actual lateral acceleration, and when the angle of the lateral slip is judged large, decreasing the objective rear wheel steering angle variation quantity to actual yaw rate variation quantity. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering angle calculating means calculates an objective rear wheel steering angle from the car speed detected by a car speed detecting means, front wheel steering angle detected by a front wheel steering angle detecting means, and the actual yaw rate detected by a turning state detecting means according to setting control rule, and the result is outputted to a control means to steer the rear wheels. While the angle of lateral slip is not large, a turning state estimating means estimates a yaw rate and lateral acceleration from the detected car speed and steering angle before detection. A slip judging means judges whether the angle of lateral slip is large or not from the estimation result and the actual yaw rate outputted by the turning state detecting means and actual acceleration. If it is large, the variable quantity of the objective rear wheel steering angle to the variable quantity of the actual yaw rate is decreased.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently uniformize the illumination of a dial, by integrally forming a light reflective attenuating member having hue such that light reflectivity is low along the inner surface of a case so as to extend the same from the existing light blocking member arranged in the vicinity of the dial. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from a light source 2 to straightly advance to the upper part passes through the hole 5b of a plate 5 as shown by an arrow (a) and is reflected from the inclined surface 6a of a dial 6 to illuminate the dial 6. The light shown by an arrow (b), which impinged against the light reflective attenuating member 5a of the plate 5 provided along a case, is absorbed because said light reflective attenuating member 5a has hue low in light reflectivity such as black and becomes soft light which is, in turn, similarly converted in to the illumination light of the dial 6. That is, because light to be reflected from the light source toward the end surface of the dial by the inner surface of the case is attenuated by the light reflective attenuating member extending from the existing light blocking ember arranged in the vicinity of the dial, the illumination of the dial can be efficiently uniformized with inexpensive constitution.
