摘要： An antiskid control device including a main line system for a usual braking operation and a subline system for an antiskid control, in which the flow rate of the subline system is smaller than the flow rate of the mainline system. The main piping system is provided with a cut-off valve which opens at a usual braking operation and closes at an antiskid control. The subline system is provided with a first control valve for opening the subline system and a second control valve for opening or closing the subline system at an antiskid control. The second control valve opens the subline system to supply a small quantity of brake oil to the wheel cylinder, and closes the subline system to release the brake oil in the wheel cylinder to the outside thereof.

摘要： An antiskid control device including a main line system, a first oil hydraulic source generating a pressurized oil and supplying the oil to wheel cylinders through the main line system, a subline system, and a second oil hydraulic source generating a pressurized oil and supplying the oil to the wheel cylinders through the subline system. The main line system and the first oil hydraulic source are provided for a usual braking operation. The subline system and the second oil hydraulic source are provided for an antiskid control. The main line system has a cut-off valve which opens the main line system in the usual braking operation and closes the main line system in the antiskid control. The subline system has a switching valve which opens and closes the subline system according to a rocking condition of the wheel during the antiskid control. The second oil hydraulic source generates a pressurized oil when a locking condition is sensed.

摘要： A brake oil pressure control device including a main line system for a normal braking operation, and a subline system for antiskid control and acceleration slip control. The main line system connects a master cylinder to a wheel cylinder, and has a first valve which opens the main line for a normal braking operation, and closes the main line when an antiskid control or acceleration slip control is in effect. The subline system has an oil pump connected to the wheel cylinder through a subline having a second valve, which is controlled to open and close the subline for the antiskid control or acceleration slip control. Inlet and outlet ports are connected by a relief pipe having a third valve and a relief valve. The relief valve opens the relief pipe under pressure from the master cylinder when a discharge pressure from the oil pump is higher than the pressure at the master cylinder, to restrain the discharge pressure from the oil pump. The third valve opens the relief pipe for an antiskid control, and closes the relief pipe for an acceleration slip control.

摘要： Disclosed is an anti-skid control system incorporated in the hydraulic pressure braking apparatus of a motor vehicle including a wheel braking cylinder responsive to a hydraulic pressure developed by a master cylinder for braking a wheel of the vehicle. The anti-skid control system comprises a hydraulic pressure supplying device and a directional control valve provided between the wheel braking cylinder and the hydraulic pressure supplying device. The directional control valve is actuated to shut off the communication therebetween and the actuation thereof is controlled in accordance with a duty cycle, which is in turn updated in accordance with the difference between a wheel speed and a target wheel speed so that the slip ratio of the wheel becomes equal to a target slip ratio.

摘要： An electric fuel pump for pumping a liquid fuel from a tank to an engine. The pump device has a regenerative pump section and an electric motor section for driving the regenerative pump section. The regenerative pump section includes a pump casing having a first inner surface and a second inner surface axially opposing to and spaced from each other to define therebetween a pump chamber, a shaft adapted to be rotatingly driven by the electric motor section and an impeller accommodated by the pump chamber and mounted on the shaft for rotation therewith but axially movably relatively thereto. The impeller has one axial end surface opposing to the first inner surface with a first gap formed therebetween, and the other axial end surface opposing to the second inner surface of the pump casing with a second gap formed therebetween. The first inner surface and the second inner surface of the pump casing has axial thrust generating surfaces which are so shaped as to gradually decrease the first and the second gaps towards the downstream sides as viewed in the direction of flow of fuel introduced into these gaps. In consequence, axial thrust forces are generated by wedging action of the fuel introduced into the gaps so that the impeller is kept out of contact with the inner surfaces of the pump casing during operation of the pump device.

摘要： A piston (13) in a first cylinder (11) is driven as a piezoelectric element group (14), which includes a plurality of laminar piezoelectric elements (141, 142, ...) stacked in layers, extends or contracts. A second cylinder (17) is formed so as to connect with a first fluid pressure chamber (16) which is defined in the first cylinder by the piston. A piston-shaped valve member (18) is disposed in the second cylinder. The valve member is urged toward the first fluid pressure chamber by a spring (19). The first fluid pressure chamber is supplied with a fluid whose pressure is set by means of a selector valve (23). When the selector valve is closed, the fluid pressure chamber is defined as an independent compartment. In this state, high voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element group to elongate it, thereby driving the piston. Thus, the valve member is actuated by the fluid pressure inside the first fluid pressure chamber, and a fluid passage is opened and closed by the valve member.

摘要： First and second outlet ports are connected to an inlet port. A first valve member selectively blocks and unblocks the first outlet port. A second valve member selectively blocks and unblocks the second outlet port. A first device urges the first valve member. A second device urges the second valve member. A movable member disposed between the first and second valve members allows a force of the first urging device to travel to the second valve member. The movable member can be driven by a solenoid winding. When the solenoid winding is deenergized, the first valve member is moved to its open position by the first urging device and the second valve member is moved against a force of the second urging device to its open position by the first urging device. When the solenoid winding is energized, the first valve member is moved against the force of the first urging device to its closed position by the movable member and the second valve member is moved to its closed position by the second urging device.

摘要： A braking system having a pressure modulator which, during normal braking operation, delivers a fluid pressure which is a predetermined multiple of a fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder to a wheel cylinder. The pressure modulator has a solenoid actuator which is energized during braking force proportioning and anti-skid operations to reduce the delivery pressure. In a preferred embodiment, the pressure modulator further includes another solenoid actuator for increasing the delivery pressure during braking force proportioning operation and for delivering fluid pressure during traction control operation.
