    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily take out interior ornaments, such as noble metals, without impairing a shape and appearance by imparting protective layers of ceramics having excellent heat resistance and removability to these interior ornaments, thereby protecting the interior ornaments against cremation temp. and firing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: For example, an image 1 of Buddha made of pure gold as burial accessories A, is deposited with the ceramic protective layers 2 over the entire circumference thereof as the interior ornaments. The protective layers 2 are formed with ceramics obtained b kneading a mixture with a water soluble inorg. binder. The image 1 of the Buddha is clad with such clayey ceramic mixture 3 and the surface is subjected to ornamentation by a wooden pattern 4; simultaneously, vibrations are applied thereto by an exciter 5 to remove the air bubbles in the ceramics and to impart the protective layers 2 along the shape. The protective layers are dried after the molding, by which the burial accessories A are obtd. As a result, the image 1 of the Buddha is protected as the interior ornaments against the temp. in a cremation furnace and the firing atmosphere. The easy taking out of the image 1 of the Buddha is thus possible without impairing the shape and the appearance.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the manufacture of a sintered body without removing a mold, by a method wherein the mold is formed by applying slurry type mixture of porous carbon aggregate and organic self curing adhesive agent on a water soluble thermoplastic model and curing said slurry. CONSTITUTION:The aggregate of a mold is made of porous carbon material, such as charcoal, active carbon, graphite or the like having the grain size of 10-400 mesh, while an adhesive agent is made of phenolic isocyanate resin or alkyd isocyanate resin. The mixing rate of the aggregate and the adhesive agent is preferably 15-35wt.% for aggregate and 65-85wt.% for the adhesive agent and solvent from the consideration of the configuration and strength of the mold. The mold 2 is formed by a method wherein slurry, prepared by the aggregate and the adhesive agent at said mixing rate, is applied more than one time on the water soluble thermoplastic model 1 of polyethylene glycol and is cured while the water soluble thermoplastic model is eluted from the mold in the heating atmosphere at 60-100 deg.C and the remaining part 3 of the model, which is adhered to the inside of a cavity, is removed by dipping the mold into hot-water or dilute acid solution.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a mold and a core having suitable strength and collapsibility by impregnating binder solution having refractoriness after hardening slurry consisting of the specific ratio of refractory material, water, aq. soln. of phenol resin, organic ester and burning. CONSTITUTION:The fluidized mixed material (slurry) adding and adjusting the organic ester of glyceline monoacetate, etc., at 10-100wt.% of aq. soln. of resin, to 5-30pts. of water and 2-20pts. of aq. soln. of potassium alkaline phenol resin to 100pts. of refractory material of silica, chamotte, etc., is poured into a metallic mold having the prescribed shape and hardened at room temp. By this method, the mold having the prescribed shape and formed body for core are obtd. This formed body is dried at about 50-100 deg.C and further, it is desirable to burn at about 300-500 deg.C. After that, the binder solution having refractoriness, such as ethyl silicate, is impregnated in the formed body and further, burnt at >=about 500 deg.C. By this method, the mold and the core having suitable strength and collapsibility after casting and excellent dimensional accuracy is obtd.
