    • A manufacturing method of a flat panel display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: coating a first adhering member on a first supporting plate; disposing a first substrate on the first adhering member; using ultrasonic waves to adhere the first supporting plate and the first substrate; and forming a gate line, a data line, a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line, and a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor on the first substrate. According to the manufacturing method of the flat panel display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the first adhering member made of the plurality of adhering particles is melted by using the ultrasonic waves without an additional adhering film to adhere the flexible first substrate and the first supporting plate, thereby reducing the overall manufacturing cost.

    • Approaches presented herein provide an inorganic water resistant binder composition comprising liquefied sodium silicate and a method of fabricating lightweight, water resistant hardcore panels using the binder composition. Specifically, the liquefied sodium silicate comprises about 76.0-80.0 parts by weight of silicon, about 19.6-23.0 parts by weight of sodium, about 0.15-0.35 parts by weight of potassium, about 0.20-0.30 parts by weight of aluminum, and about 0.05-0.15 parts by weight of iron. Furthermore, the inorganic water resistant binder composition comprises about 50.0-94.0 parts by weight of liquefied sodium silicate, about 5.0-30.0 parts by weight of nano silica and about 0.5-10.0 parts by weight of a silane composition, which enhance water resistance of the binder composition. A method is provided for fabrication of a lightweight, highly water resistant hardcore panel from the inorganic water resistant binder composition and inorganic additives, such as an inorganic filler and a strength enhancer.

    • In a method of manufacturing a display apparatus, a light reflecting layer is formed on at least one of two substrates facing each other and reflects ultraviolet rays irradiated onto the substrates. The light reflecting layer includes first and second layers that have different refractive indexes from each other and are sequentially stacked. The light reflecting layer may selectively reflect ultraviolet rays having a specific wavelength, and the specific wavelength of ultraviolet rays that are reflected by the light reflecting layer may be controlled by the refractive indexes of the first and second layers and the thicknesses of the first and second layers.
