    • A process for producing a granular detergent composition containing a surface active agent, a zeolite, an alkali metal silicate, and other detergent builder is described. This granular detergent composition is produced by either (1)(a) preparing an aqueous slurry containing, as a dispersing medium, the surface active agent;(b) bubbling a gas into the aqueous slurry to form a slurry containing bubbles having an average bubble diameter of 40 through 100 microns and having a specific gravity of 0.7 through 0.9;(c) mixing the resultant aqueous slurry with the zeolite, the alkali metal silicate, and the other builders to form a detergent slurry; and(d) spray drying the detergent slurry to form the granular detergent composition or (2)(a) preparing a detergent slurry containing the surface active agent, the zeolite, the alkali metal silicate, and/or other detergent builders;(b) passing the detergent slurry through a centrifugal pump, while a gas is bubbled into the detergent slurry, whereby the detergent slurry containing bubbles having an average diameter of 40 through 100 microns and having a specific gravity of 0.7 through 0.9 is formed; and(c) spray drying the detergent slurry to form the granular detergent composition.

    • A granular detergent composition is described containing an .alpha.-sulfo fatty acid ester salt and having good granular or powder properties, without containing any phosphate, and also having a less decomposable property of an .alpha.-sulfo fatty acid ester salt contained therein. This granular detergent composition comprises(a) at least one .alpha.-sulfo fatty acid ester salt having the general formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R is an alkyl group having 4 through 20 carbon atoms, R.sub.1 is an alkyl group having 1 through 6 carbon atoms, and M.sub.1 is a salt-forming pair ion;(b) at least one fatty acid soap having the general formula [II]:R.sub.2 COOM.sub.2 [II] wherein R.sub.2 is an alkyl group having 8 through 20 carbon atoms, and M.sub.2 is an alkali metal; and(c) at least one polycarboxylic acid salt, the total content of the components (a) and (b) in the composition being 20% through 80% by weight, the weight ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) being within the range of from 4/1 through 1/4, and the content of the component (c) in the composition being 1% through 20% by weight.

    • A charge pump includes a switching circuit which is interposed among first and second output capacitors, a flying capacitor, and an input power supply; and a control unit which controls the switching circuit. The charge pump is operated in an operation mode including a high-voltage outputting mode, a low-voltage outputting mode, and a relay mode. The control unit controls the switching circuit so that respective charging voltages of the first and second capacitors that are charged in the high-voltage outputting mode are gradually lowered. The control unit changes the operation mode of the charge pump by relay transition from the high-voltage outputting mode through the relay mode to the low-voltage outputting mode when a voltage lower command is given during a period when the operation mode of the charge pump is in the high-voltage outputting mode.
