      SOLUTION: This segment holding device 20 for being held by an arm body 19 ascendably/descendably attached to a slewing ring 16 is provided with a segment holding body 25 which has one half portion 25a supported in a supporting body 21 in such a manner as to be movable and rotatable in an axial direction and which has the other half portion provided with an engaging portion 25b capable of being freely engaged with/disengaged from a hanger 29 of a segment S. The segment holding device 20 also comprises a ring gear 31 which rotates the segment holding body, so as to attach or detach the hanger 29, engaged with the segment holding body, to or from the segment S, and a hexagonal external force transfer boss 36 for rotating a mechanical rotary mechanism such as a pinion 34 by an external force.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a water leakage before water is filled fully.
      SOLUTION: In a specifying operation of a gas leakage position, nitrogen gas under a definite pressure is injected between a main water shutoff plate and an auxiliary water shutoff plate via an injection tube, and an acqueous soap solution is coated along the upperstream side of a transverse joint. When a gas leakage is present at the transverse joint, the nitrogen gas is discharged from its part, the soap solution is swollen, and a hemispherical soap bubble is formed. When a face coated with the soap solution is visually observed, a gas leakage generation place is detected so as to be specified simply. When a diameter of the soap bubble formed by swelling the soap solution is measured, a gas leakage amount and a size of a gas leakage place are estimated. The gas leakage generation place is substantially identical to a water leakage generation place when a quantitative problem of leak water is not taken into consideration.
