    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of man-hours for manufacture and to prevent a crack from being formed in a lateral rib and a steel plate deck in such a manner as to start from an end of a portion welded to a longitudinal rib.SOLUTION: A steel plate deck 10 includes a floor slab 1 made of a steel material, a longitudinal rib 2 made of a steel material provided along a bridge axis direction on the undersurface of the floor slab 1, and a lateral rib 3 made of a steel material provided along a width direction orthogonal to the bridge axis direction on the undersurface of the floor slab 1. In a joint structure of a crossed portion of steel plate deck ribs, the mutually-crossed longitudinal and lateral ribs 2 and 3 of the steel plate deck 10 are joined to each other. The joint structure of the crossed portion of the steel plate deck ribs comprises a notched portion 31 which is provided in the lateral rib 3 in such a manner that the longitudinal rib 2 is inserted thereinto in a noncontact state, and a connecting member 5 which is made of a steel material for connecting the longitudinal and lateral ribs 2 and 3 together in the state of straddling the notched portion 31 together, by tightening a high-strength bolt G.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain sealability inside of a U rib held between diaphragms while preventing the occurrence of a crack starting from a terminal portion of a weld zone in an intersection of the U rib and a transverse rib.SOLUTION: A steel slab U rib diaphragm structure comprises a diaphragm 6 disposed in an area surrounded with an inner surface of a U rib and a lower surface of a slab so as to close, at both sides in a bridge axis direction, a joint part where the U rib provided under the slab is joined in the bridge axis direction. The steel slab U rib diaphragm structure further comprises an outer peripheral member 61 and an inner member 62. The outer peripheral member 61 is formed from a material softer than the U rib and is provided while continuing and adhering an outer peripheral portion to the inner surface of the U rib and the lower surface of the slab. The inner member 62 is formed from a hard material in comparison with the outer peripheral member 61, is provided in an inside portion of the outer peripheral member which is not adhered to the inner surface of the U rib and the lower surface of the slab, and maintains a shape of the outer peripheral member 61.
