    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus capable of stably obtaining higher denitration ratio without increasing the supply amount of a reducing agent.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment apparatus includes a temperature reducing means 3 for spraying water to the exhaust gas discharged from a combustion device to cool the exhaust gas, a dust removing means 5 for removing dust from the exhaust gas cooled by the temperature reducing means 3 and the reducing agent supplying means 4 provided upstream of the dust removing means 5 to supply the reducing agent and constituted so as to reduce nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas by the reducing agent in the presence of a catalyst using the dust removing means 5. This apparatus has a control means 10 for changing the denitration ratio of the dust removing means 5 by adjusting the concentration of moisture of the exhaust gas by controlling the water supply amount of the temperature reducing means 3 on the basis of the relation between the moisture concentration of the exhaust gas introduced into the dust removing means 5 and the denitration ratio of the dust removing means 5 and the control means 10 controls the water supply amount of the temperature reducing means 3 so that the concentration of the outlet NOx on the side of the outlet of the dust removing means 5 becomes a preset upper limit value of the concentration of NOx or below.
