    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of attendant pipe by a method wherein a flare pipe coupling is joined with the tip of a lateral horizontal part, and markings for cutting are formed in a position at a given distance from the pipe central line of the lateral horizontal part of a rearward horizontal part and a position at a given distance from the pipe central line of the rearward horizontal part of the lateral horizontal part. SOLUTION: Flare processing is applied at 17 on the tip of a vertical part 12'a, a flare nut 18 is inserted therein, and a flare pipe coupling 19 is coupled at the tip of a lateral horizontal part 12'c by brazing. In a rearward horizontal part 12'b, a first marking 21 for cutting is marked in a position corresponding to the length H of the vertical part 14'a of attendant pipe 14' for rearward spraying by measuring from the central line of the lateral horizontal part 12'c. The overall length L of the lateral horizontal part 12'c is set to the same size as the overall length L of the horizontal part 14'b of the attendant piping 14' for rearward pull-off. A second marking 22 for cutting is marked in a position corresponding to the length M of the horizontal part 16'b of the attendant piping 16' for downward pull-off by measuring from the central line of the rearward horizontal part 12'b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a material of a louver and to reduce the sizes of a drive motor and a drive mechanism through reduction of the weight of the louver by a method wherein a hollow part is formed at the interior of a louver by double blow-molding of the louver. SOLUTION: A louver 20 arranged at a supply opening 4 and stretched in the direction of the length thereof is molded through double blow-molding by using synthetic resin. A hollow part 21 is formed at the interior of the louver 20, a thickness Wd of the central part in the direction of length thereof is increased, and molding is effected in such a manner that thickness Wc is decreased toward the two flank sides. Since, as noted above, the thickness Wd of the central part of the louver 20 is increased to a value higher than the thickness Wc on the two flank sides, flow resistance of cold air through a central part is higher than that of cold air flowing through the two flank sides. Since cold air is guided from the central part to the two flank sides, an amount of warm indoor air induced from the two flank sides of the suply opening 4 is suppressed and dew formation on the two flank sides of the louver 20 is prevented from occurring.

    • PURPOSE: To guide the upstream air stream of the connection part of cross flow fans to reduce the deviation of the speed distribution, by providing a partition panel at right angles against the rotary axis of a plurality of cross flow fans coaxially connected, extending from the connection part of mutually adjacent cross flow fans to the upstream side of the air flow. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cross flow fans 1A, 1B (two in the figure) are coaxially connected together and arranged in the casing 2 of an airconditioner. In this time, the middle of opposite end faces 9A, 9B of respective cross flow fans 1A, 1B are recessed to lessen the clearance δ between the end faces 9A, 9B to the utmost. A partition panel 13 is put at right angles against the rotary shaft 6 to extend from the connection part C to the upstream side until it reaches the nearby position of the upper edge of the heatexchanger 4. The partition panel 13 is used in common as a support plate for a bearing 8 and used to divide the air path from the downstream of heatexchanger 4 to the cross flow fans 1A, 1B into two paths. By such a guide of air stream, the deviation of speed distribution is reduced.
