    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent battery exhaustion of an accessory battery even after long-term connection to an external power source.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a motor 14 which generates driving force for a vehicle; a main battery 11 which supplies power to the motor 14; at least one or more contactors 12 which open and close electrical connection between an external power source 23 and the main battery 11; a low voltage power bus which supplies power to an accessory 33 of the vehicle at a lower voltage than that of the main battery 11; an accessory battery 32 which is connected to the low voltage power bus; and a 14 V step-down converter 31 which performs the step down of power of the main battery 11 and supplies the step-down power to the low voltage power bus. When at least one or more of the contactors 12 are maintained in a closed state, the 14 V step-down converter 31 is actuated to supply power to the low voltage power bus.
