    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance refrigerating cycle in which refrigerating machine oil hardly flows into the refrigerating cycle after an oil separator, pressure loss in connecting pipes is reduced, heat transmission in a heat exchanger is promoted, and the heat exchanging amount is increased.
      SOLUTION: The refrigerating cycle includes a compressor for compressing a refrigerant and lubricated by the refrigerating machine oil, a condenser, a throttle mechanism, and an evaporator. The compressor is a high pressure shell type that maintains the inside of a hermetic container to a discharge pressure, and includes a compressor discharge part for discharging the compressed refrigerant, and a compressor suction part for sucking the refrigerant from the evaporator. The oil separator for separating/storing the refrigerating machine oil and the refrigerant is provided between the compressor and the condenser, and above the compressor discharge part. An oil return pipe is connected from a bottom face of the oil separator to the compressor suction part via an opening and closing valve. The opening and closing valve is controlled to close during operation of the compressor and to open when the compressor is stopped.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the temperature within a refrigerator stably near the objective temperature, and reduce the number of times of start and stop of a compressor, by controlling the quantity of a circulating refrigerant suitable for each load condition during opening of a shop or at its closing where the set temperature within a refrigerator and the set overheat are put at severally different set values.
      SOLUTION: A refrigerant being pressurized and liquefied with a compressor 8 and a condenser 10 is depressurized with an electric expansion valve 3a whose aperture is adjustable with a pulse motor. The interior of a refrigerator is cooled and the cold is kept with circulating air which is cooled, having exchanged heat with the circulating air which forms the air curtain of an open show case 1a at evaporation with an evaporator 2a. A controller 7a receives signals from evaporator inlet/outlet refrigerant temperature detection means 4a and 5a and in-refrigerator temperature detection means 6a in every determined sampling cycle, and decides how to adjust the aperture of an electric expansion valve 3a in temperature condition of each part. It outputs a pulse signal to the pulse motor of the electric expansion valve 3a and adjusts the aperture. The controller 7a judges whether it is in opening of the shop where an open show case 1a is installed or at its closing.
