    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which can feed power with proper heating power to a heating coil even when a distance between a heated object and a top plate is unknown, by calculating the distance depending on a specified surface temperature and a specified heating time to correctly detect a surface temperature of a pot with good responsiveness.SOLUTION: A temperature estimation circuit according to the present embodiment: a) causes a memory to store a relation between a specified surface temperature (T) of a heated body when a temperature rise rate of the heated body becomes a predetermined threshold value and under, and a specified heating time (τ) until the heated body reaches the specified surface temperature (T); and b) estimates a surface temperature (T) of the heated body based on the specified surface temperature (T) at the specified heating time (τ) in the memory and a temperature (T) of a top plate when the specified heating time (τ) has elapsed and a time rate of change (ΔT/Δt) in the temperature (T) of the top plate.
