In the organic electroluminescent device 1, the adhesive sealing film contains a polyisobutylene with a number-average molecular weight of 10000 or more, and a tackifier resin with a carbon double bond content of not less than 1.6% but not more than 50.0%. When the adhesive sealing film is arranged so as to cover at least the first electrode, the second electrode, and the organic function layer, the adhesive sealing film is arranged at 70°C or above but at 150°C or below.
