摘要： The invention relates to a process for the preparation of water-soluble polymers containing polyalkylene glycol ether side chains and having molecular weights of from 15,000 to 65,000 by solution polymerization of esters of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and polyalkylene glycols which are masked on the end groups at one end, if desired together with another monomer in at least one hydrocarbon at monomer concentrations of from 70 to 95% by weight in the presence of free-radical-forming polymerization initiators and, if desired, polymerization regulators at temperatures of up to 200° C., removal of the solvent used in the solution polymerization, and dissolution of the polymers in water to give from 50 to 80% strength by weight solutions, with polymers containing acid groups being neutralized if desired.

摘要： A process is disclosed for preparing D,L-aspartic acid by beating aqueous solutions of ammonium salts of the maleic acid. The molar ratio of maleic acid to ammonia ranges from 1:1 to 1:50. The process is carried out at temperatures from 60.degree. to 250.degree. C. and pressures of at least 1 bar. The pressure applied during the reaction is adjusted to ensure that the reaction mixture is almost completely present in liquid phase. Excess ammonia is removed and the reaction solution is acidified so as to release D,L-aspartic acid, which is then isolated.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for the combinatorial investigation of the hardening of hardenable liquid or viscous formulations (a) in which n hardenable formulations are prepared in parallel in n containers, and (b) the degree of hardening is determined at least once on each of the n formulations by inserting a measurement tip into the formulation with a certain force and measuring the maximum penetration depth achieved as a measure of the degree of hardening of this formulation, and (c) for in each case one composition of the formulations, one or more parameters that are characteristic of the kinetics of hardening are determined from the measurement values for the penetration depth at various times after preparation of the formulations. Steps (a) to (c) are preferably carried out a number of times, and a dependence of the characteristic parameter(s) on the composition of the formulations is determined by analysis of the large number of individual values obtained in this way for the parameter(s) that is (are) characteristic of the kinetics of hardening, enabling the composition of the formulations to be optimized with respect to its hardening behavior.
