    • Computerized systems and methods facilitate the flow of capital through the housing finance industry. A system for determining an interest rate quote and points for a mortgage loan that are specific to a borrower includes input means for obtaining borrower and mortgage loan information, means for retrieving underwriting characteristics and means for calculating the interest rate quote and points based on the borrower and mortgage loan information and based on the underwriting characteristics. The means for calculating includes means for retrieving a required yield which reflects market conditions in a secondary mortgage market including being indicative of a price that can be obtained for the mortgage loan in the secondary mortgage market. The calculating means also includes means for determining an adjustment to the required yield associated with the mortgage loan based on credit risk posed by the borrower, the credit risk adjustment being determined as a function of at least a credit score, a loan-to-value ratio, and a mortgage loan purpose for the mortgage loan and the borrower. The calculating means further includes means for determining other adjustments to the required yield based on other parameters related to the mortgage loan and/or the borrower. The interest rate quote and points are calculated as a function of the required yield adjusted by the credit risk adjustment and the other adjustments.

    • A system is configured to optimize an Internet marketing channel for a multichannel marketing campaign. The system includes an optimization model storage unit storing a plurality of optimization models for optimizing the Internet marketing channel. The system also includes a statement unit determining an estimated miniature profit and loss (P&L) for each item of the Internet marketing channel. The miniature P&L for each item links a potential investment in the item with estimated revenue and profit for the potential investment. A revenue response unit generates revenue response data for each item based on the miniature P&L for each item, and a profit response unit generates profit response data for each item based on the miniature P&L for each item. An efficiency frontier response unit generates efficiency frontier response data from the revenue response data and the profit response data, wherein the efficiency frontier response data identifies a point of diminishing returns for each item based on the investment amount in each item.

    • An apparatus and method for supporting and agitating a plurality of loose objects during a procedure known as sputter coating. A magnetron gun and the apparatus are positioned within a vacuum chamber. The magnetron or sputtering gun produces a metal ion fog or vapor within the chamber which freely penetrates through screen mesh surfaces of a suspended basket of the apparatus containing the objects to be sputter coated. A solenoid or other suitable device vibrates the basket, agitating, and repeatedly momentarily suspending and reorienting the objects to achieve a very uniform metal layer being applied atop the objects. By changing the magnetron target or by using multiple magnetron, thin layers of multiple metals or layers with metal mixtures are also achievable with this technique.

The method includes composing and producing a uniquely numbered manifest containing a description of the materials that make up the content of the shipment. The method further includes creating a work order, responsive to obtaining information about materials intended to be shipped, and associating the work order with a manifest record comprising a unique number and information to be supplied for the header of the manifest. The method further includes adding to the manifest record lines of information describing the material to be shipped. At a subsequent time, for instance when a transporting vehicle arrives to pick up the material, information in the manifest record can be further edited.
