    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire-inserting jig allowing an optical connector to hardly get out of place. SOLUTION: The wire-inserting jig comprises: a connector holding block 1 connected to a plug P of the optical connector; and a block 2 to be pulled connected to the wire-inserting tool. The connector holding block 1 has an opening and closing structure and, when being open, makes the plug P attachable and detachable and, when being close, covers the plug P therewith. A cord insertion part 11 for inserting an optical fiber cord C thereto formed on the rear end part of the connector holding block 1 when the connector holding block 1 is close is formed in such a size and a shape that insertion of the plug P is impossible. Further, the close state of the connector holding block 1 is maintained by restraining a restraining claw 46 on a restraint step 35. Therefore, unless the restraint of the restraining claw 46 is released and the connector holding block 1 is opened, the plug P never gets out of place even when the wire-inserting tool connected to the block 2 to be pulled is strongly pulled.
