摘要： A current sensor having an element made of amorphous magnetic metal is disclosed herein. The current sensor includes an element located near a conductor and made of amorphous magnetic metal whose magnetic property varies in accordance with the intensity of a magnetic field generated from a current flowing through the conductor, magnet applying a DC-bias magnetic field to the element, a coil exhibiting electrical property corresponding to the magnetic property of the element, and output device for outputting a signal corresponding to the electrical property of the coil. The coil has a specific positional relationship with the element, such that at least part of the magnetic flux generated by the coil passes through the element.

摘要： A strain gage includes a pair of coils printed on one face of a substrate and an amorphous magnetic metallic plate arranged on the other face of said substrate and having magnetostrictive effect. Magnetic flux generated by one of the paired coils passes through the amorphous magnetic metallic plate and links with the other of the coils. When load is added to an object and strain of the object is caused by the load added, therefore, the magnetic permeability of the amorphous magnetic metallic plate is changed, due to the magnetostrictive effect, in response to the load added. The density of the magnetic flux passing through the magnetic metallic plate is also changed responsive to this changing magnetic permeability and composite inductance of the paired coils is then changed responsive to the changing density of the magnetic flux. The strain gage outputs a detection signal, which represents the changing density of the magnetic flux, thereby measuring the load added or strain of the object caused by the load added. The detecting sensitivity of the strain gage is more remarkably enhanced as compared with that of the conventional one. Further, the strain gage has a higher reliability and can be handled with more easiness.

摘要： In a torque sensor of a noncontact type, a pair of amorphous magnetic ribbons are bonded to a shaft to which a rotary torque is applied. A pair of coils are wound around the shaft and an alternating magnetic field is applied from the coils to the magnetic ribbons along the axis of the shaft. A permanent magnet and yokes are located around the shaft and a bias magnetic field is also applied from the magnetic to the magnetic ribbons through the yokes.

摘要： A robot hand and a robot using it are provided. The robot hand has a finger-tip tactile sensor device, a palm tactile sensor device, and a tip contact force detecting device. Among them, the finger-tip tactile sensor device 10 has an elastic cap 14, in which a cavity 15 is formed with an opening 17a at a base end. The cavity is filled up with an incompressible fluid. A pressure detector 16 is inserted into the opening 17a of the cavity 17, and a holding member 18 holds the elastic cap 14 and the pressure detector 16. The holding member 18 is swingably mounted on a finger 1 of robot hand through a joint 2. When the elastic cap 14 contacts with an object, the contact pressure is detected through the incompressible fluid by the pressure detector 16.
