    • A two-compartment type prefilled syringe includes a first rubber stopper fitted into a front sleeve, a second rubber stopper fitted into a rear end portion of a cartridge, a third rubber stopper for hermetically dividing the interior of the cartridge into front and rear compartments and a bypass formed by radially outwardly bulging a portion of a peripheral wall of the cartridge. In an axial direction of the cartridge, a length of the third rubber stopper is slightly smaller than an inner length of the bypass. When the third rubber stopper has been displaced into the bypass, the sealing property of the rear compartment with the front compartment is cancelled such that the dissolving agent, suspension or the like in the rear compartment is carried, via the bypass, into the front compartment containing dry medicament or the like. A ratio of a maximum width of one end of the bypass adjacent to the front sleeve to a maximum width of the other end of the bypass adjacent to the rear end portion of the cartridge is set to range from 1.2 to 5.0.

    • A prefilled syringe has a tubular body which has an open front end and an open rear end. A front assembly is mounted on an outer periphery of a front end portion of the tubular body. A finger grip is mounted on an outer periphery of a rear end portion of the tubular body. A front sealing member is provided in the tubular body so as to be disposed forwardly of injection liquid and a rear sealing member is provided in the tubular body so as to be disposed rearwards of the injection liquid. A plunger rod is provided so as to be movable in the tubular body. A temporary stop member temporarily stops the plunger rod through retention of the temporary stop member by the finger grip such that the rear sealing member is temporarily stopped at a predetermined position of the tubular body. A retention canceling member cancels the retention of the temporary stop member by the finger grip without moving the plunger rod.

    • An image quality adjusting circuit in an image processing apparatus is provided with a line memory unit, a delay circuit unit, a first to fourth filter processing circuits, and an adder. In the delay circuit unit, delay circuits are arranged in a matrix form. Delay circuits arranged in a horizontal direction receive an image data directly or via line memories. The image quality adjusting circuit each perform filter processing on the received image data signals lying in a horizontal direction, in a vertical direction, in a down-right direction, and in a down-left direction. The image quality adjusting circuit performs addition of the image data on a focus pixel and the filter-processed data, and thus performs edge correction processing.

Consequently, regardless of whether a plurality of cylindrical batteries (Ba) are axially arranged in series or radially juxtaposed, each adjoining two can be connected to each other by using the identical cell-to-cell connection plates (1) for cost reduction. It is also possible to provide a sufficient heat dissipation effect and achieve sufficient robustness and weight saving even when connecting large-sized cylindrical batteries.

    • An inter-battery connection device for connecting terminals of two batteries (1a, 1b) arranged with their axes parallel to each other. The inter-battery connection device includes an inter-battery connection plate (11) that connects the battery case bottom (2) and the sealing plate (3) of the two batteries. The inter-battery connection plate (11) includes welding portions (4) at the ends of its base plate (6) for welding to the case bottom (2) and the sealing plate (3), respectively. An intermediate metal plate (7) is joined to the middle part of the base plate (6) between the welding portions (4, 4) to form an intermediate portion (5) having a greater thickness than each welding portion (4). The inter-battery connection device has reduced electric resistance while achieving improved weldability.
