    • An electromagnetically driven valve includes a driven valve having a stem extending in a prescribed direction and an umbrella-shaped portion provided at a tip end of the stem and opening/closing an intake/exhaust port, a lower disc and an upper disc having one ends coupled to the stem and the other ends supported by a disc support base so as to allow free oscillation of the disc respectively and oscillating around the other ends so as to cause the driven valve to carry out reciprocating motion in the prescribed direction, a lash adjuster provided in the stem, and a guide ring guiding the lash adjuster along the prescribed direction. The lash adjuster contracts and expands in the prescribed direction and accommodates displacement of the stem produced in a direction orthogonal to the prescribed direction as a result of reciprocating motion of the driven valve. With such a structure, the driven valve carries out smooth reciprocating motion.

    • An electromagnetically driven valve that operates by a combination of electromagnetic force and elastic force includes a valve element that has a valve shaft and that reciprocates in directions of extension of the valve shaft, and first and second oscillating members that extend from driving ends to pivoting ends, and that pivot about central axes extending at the pivoting ends. The driving ends are operatively linked with the valve element. An electromagnet oscillates the first and second oscillating members. First and second measuring portions measure at least one of the oscillation angle, the amount of lift and the oscillating speed of the first and second oscillating members. A control portion computes energization control logics based on measurement values provided by the first and second measuring portions, and averages the energization control logics to control energization of the electromagnet.

    • An electromagnetically driven valve is actuated by cooperation of electromagnetic force and elastic force. The electromagnetically driven valve includes a driven valve having a stem and carrying out reciprocating motion along a direction in which the stem extends, a lower disc and an upper disc spaced apart from each other and each having one end coupled to the stem so as to allow free oscillation of the disc and the other end supported by a disc base so as to allow free oscillation of the disc, and a lower spring and an upper spring provided at the other end of the lower disc and at the other end of the upper disc respectively and applying elastic force to the lower disc and the upper disc. With such a structure, an electromagnetically driven valve reduced in height and attaining excellent mounting characteristic can be provided.

    • An electromagnetically driven valve includes a valve element, a main body, a disc, and a lower electromagnet. The lower electromagnet includes a core made of magnetic material, and a coil wound in the core. The coil is offset to a driving end side with respect to a center of the core.
