摘要： The present invention enhances accuracy in feedbacking a common potential applied to common electricity supply lines. On a substrate of a display device, a plurality of scanning signal lines, a plurality of video signal lines which stereoscopically intersects the plurality of scanning signal lines by way of an insulation layer, common electricity supply lines arranged in a matrix array which intersect the plurality of scanning signal lines and the plurality of video signal lines by way of the insulation layer, and a common bus line which is arranged around an approximately quadrangular display region to surround the display region annularly and is electrically connected with the common electricity supply lines are formed. The substrate includes a common sensing line which feedbacks a voltage of the common bus line to a common voltage generating circuit, and the common sensing line is connected to a side of the common bus line opposite to a side of the common bus line to which the voltage of the common potential is applied. Further, the common sensing line is configured not to stereoscopically intersect other conductive layer formed on the substrate.

摘要： The present invention provides a technique which can prevent the disconnection of lines in the vicinity of terminal portions formed on an end portion of a TFT substrate of a liquid crystal display panel. Terminal portions for supplying electric signals to scanning lines are formed on a TFT substrate. Auxiliary lines and connection lines are formed between the terminal portions and the scanning lines in order from the terminal portions. A line width of the auxiliary line is set to 20 μm or more and the auxiliary lines extend to a region where the TFT substrate is covered with the color filter substrate. Although the connection lines connect the auxiliary lines and the scanning lines, for making the resistances from the terminal portions uniform, a line width of the connection line at a center portion of a flexible printed circuit board is set to a small value and a line width of the connection line at a peripheral portion of the flexible printed circuit board is set to a large value. At the center portion of the flexible printed circuit board, the line width of the connection line is set smaller than a line width of the auxiliary line. Due to such a constitution, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of the disconnection in the vicinity of the terminal portions attributed to a glass debris or the like.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel which sandwiches liquid crystal in the inside thereof sealed by a TFT substrate, a color filter substrate and a sealing portion, and a flexible printed circuit board which is mounted on the TFT substrate, wherein the TFT substrate has an area larger than the color filter substrate. A plurality of scanning lines extend in a lateral direction and are arranged parallel to each other in a longitudinal direction, a plurality data signal lines extend in the longitudinal direction and are arranged parallel to each other in the lateral direction, and terminal portions corresponding to the scanning lines are formed on the TFT substrate, the terminal portion is arranged at a region that is not covered by the color filter substrate. The terminal portions and the scanning lines are connected by auxiliary lines and connection lines in order from the terminal portions. The connection lines are arranged in a region covered with the color filter substrate, and the auxiliary lines extend to both the region that is covered by the color filter substrate and the region that is not covered by the color filter substrate.

摘要： An LCD device has a pair of substrates including orientation films on surfaces thereof which face opposing substrates. The substrate on which signal lines are formed, on a side thereof which is disposed between a region on which sealing material is arranged and a display region and along which the signal lines extend to the outside of the sealing material from the display region, includes a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer and an insulation layer which is interposed therebetween. The insulation layer extends in the direction at least along an outer periphery of the display region, and includes groove portion having a recessed groove which opens on the orientation film side. The first conductive layer is covered on the surface of the recessed groove. The signal lines are formed in a state that the signal lines go around the recessed groove.

摘要： The present invention suppresses the spreading by wetting of an orientation film material in a liquid form toward a sealing agent applied region positioned on an outer periphery of a display region in forming an orientation film thus ensuring the uniformity of a film thickness in the display region. Out of the pair of substrates, the substrate on which the signal lines are formed, on a side thereof which is disposed between a region on which the sealing material is arranged and the display region and along which the signal lines extend to the outside of the sealing material from the display region, includes a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer and an insulation layer which is interposed between the first and second conductive layers between the orientation film and the substrate, the insulation layer extends in the direction at least along an outer periphery of the display region, and includes groove portion having a recessed groove which opens on the orientation film side, the first conductive layer is formed along a shape of the recessed groove, and the signal lines are formed in a state that the signal lines go around the recessed groove.

The bus line includes opening portions outside intersecting regions where the bus line is overlapped to the signal lines as viewed in a plan view. The opening portions are arranged on both sides of each intersecting region.
