摘要： A system and method are disclosed for routing telephone calls directed to a wireless unit located in the wireless network to a landline device located in the landline network. The system utilizes a location register in the form of a service control point (SCP) located in the landline network to store certain information pertaining to landline numbers and respective routing numbers associated with landline devices. The SCP is functionally coupled to a Visitors' Location Register (VLR) as well as to a landline network element that facilitates the routing of communications to both landline devices and over to the MTSO and its associated Home Location Register (HLR) in the wireless network. The system provides for the registering of the wireless unit with the landline network by the dialing of an administrative number from a landline device and causes the VLR in the landline network to directly communicate with the HLR in the wireless network to keep both the landline and the wireless networks up to date as to the registration status and specific routing for the various subscribers. The system is thereby able to route calls efficiently and to alleviate the tromboning effect that often occurs when calls are redirected from a wireless unit to a landline device.

摘要： Technologies are described herein for providing an improved interface for interacting with a document within a private computer network. A computer program provides a person profile interface through a document viewer, the person profile interface enabling a user of a private computer network to select a different user of the private computer network, and present person profile tags and documents associated with the different user of the private computer network. The computer program further provides a tag profile interface through the document viewer, the tag profile interface enabling the user to select a tag, and present content tagged or commented on by other users of the private computer network and associated with the selected tag. 摘要： A method and apparatus for estimating and compensating for a broad class of non-Gaussian sensor and process noise. In one example, a coded filter combines a dynamic state estimator (for example, a Kalman filter) and a non-linear estimator to provide approximations of the non-Gaussian process and sensor noise associated with a dynamic system. These approximations are used by the dynamic state estimator to correct sensor measurements or to alter the dynamic model governing evolution of the system state. Examples of coded filters leverage compressive sensing techniques in combination with error models based on concepts of compressibility and the application of efficient convex optimization processes.

The conversion function may utilize full-precision computation or may convert the value utilizing a user-supplied number of significant digits. A method and apparatus for formatting the results of a conversion in a user-modifiable euro style is also provided. A formatting toolbar button is supplied that when selected applies a euro style to a selected currency value or range of values. A conversion wizard for converting a group of values or functions between the euro and other currencies is also provided. The wizard permits user-selected formula handling options to be selected at the time of conversion. A toolbar for viewing the results of the conversion is also provided. The toolbar provides a floating window that indicates the value of a current location in a user-specified type of currency. The window is updated each time a new location or range of locations is selected, a refresh command is issued, or a new type of currency is selected.

The worldwide number format includes a locale specifier comprising a number shape, a calendar type and a locale identification (LCID). The worldwide number format also includes a base number format and a value. The LCID is used to categorize different parts of the world. Primarily, the LCID categorizes different parts of the world by language such as English, German, French, Thai, Arabic, etc. The LCID is used to determine what language to display month names, month abbreviations, weekday names, weekday abbreviations, time designations such as AM/PM, etc. The calendar type supports both Gregorian and non-Gregorian calendars. Calendar type is a value to indicate which calendar should be used to calculate the date from the value. The number shape is a value that indicates what shape in which to represent the number. In other words, number shape refers to the manner of writing numbers and the digit shape to use to represent a number. For example, some countries prefer to see numbers written out.
