    • An electronic ignition control apparatus for an engine comprises a reference signal generator to produce a reference signal corresponding to the top dead center position of a piston, a first sensor to produce a first output signal indicative of the amount of air sucked into a combustion chamber of the engine, a second sensor to produce a second output signal indicative of a predetermined period of time necessary for generating a spark voltage in an ignition coil, and a memory circuit to store a data indicating an optimum period of time for spark advance in relation to the amount of sucked air and responsive to the reference signal to produce a third output signal indicative of a period of time for spark advance relative to the first output signal, a calculation circuit responsive to the reference signal to calculate a timing to start energization of the primary winding of the ignition coil in the following cycle of the reference signal with respect to each period of time represented by the second and third output signals, and a setting circuit responsive to a timing signal indicative of a calculation-resultant value to maintain the energization of the primary winding of the ignition coil within the predetermined period of time.

    • In an electronic ignition control apparatus for a combustion engine, a first memory is provided to store a data indicating a first parameter in relation to rotation speed of the engine to read out a value of the first parameter in accordance with an instant rotation speed of the engine, the first parameter defining an ascent of a linear equation representing a relationship between an optimum period of time for spark advance and an amount of air sucked into the engine in consideration with the rotation speed, and a second memory is provided to store a data indicating a second parameter in relation to the rotation speed to read out a value of the second parameter in accordance with the instant rotation speed, the second parameter defining an ordinates' intersection of the linear equation. The control apparatus further comprises a calculation circuit for calculating the linear equation in accordance with an instant amount of the sucked air and the read-out values of the first and second parameters to obtain the optimum period of time for spark advance in relation to the instant amount of the sucked air.

    • A fuel injection control system for internal combustion engine comprises a fuel injection pump including a plunger slidably reciprocating in synchronism with rotation of the engine and a spill port establishing communication between a low pressure chamber and a pump chamber. An electronic control unit is responsive to engine operating conditions for the determination of fuel injection time period and controls the solenoid-operated valve to close the spill port in response to the requirement of fuel injection into the cylinder and open the same to terminate the fuel injection. The fuel injection control system further comprises a circuit including two fixed resistors and two adjusting resistors so that first and second voltage signals are developed at its terminals. The two adjusting resistors respectively determine the value of the voltage signals. The first voltage signal is regulated to correspond to the response time lag inherent in the solenoid valve and the second voltage signal is regulated to correspond to the error of the generation timing of the detection signal of a reference plunger position detector. The correction of fuel injection time period is made on the basis of the first and second voltage signals. pg,4
