    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high efficiency rolling by preventing the vibration of a mill by improving the workability of a fluid-pressure cylinder and also to enable performing rolling in a stable state by reducing backlash between the housing and the roll chock of a rolling mill, with respect to the fluid-pressure cylinder and the rolling mill.
      SOLUTION: A guide means is constituted by mounting hydraulic cylinders 21-28 in the housing 11, opposed to the roll chocks 12, 13, 16, 17, fitting these hydraulic cylinders 21-28 to a cylinder 32 fixed to the housing 11 through a liner 33 so that a thin plunger 40 is freely movable, also fitting the recessed part 42 of the thin plunger 40 to the center guide 38 of the cylinder 32 and a liner 54 for pressing each roll chock 12, 13, 16, 17 is connected to the tip part of the thin plunger 40.
