    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal a connecting part of a metallic member and a ceramic member under conditions of operating temperatures as high as 800°C or more and pressure differences. SOLUTION: This sealing structure 101 of a connecting part between a metallic tubular member 112 and a ceramic tubular member 102 comprises a metallic encircling member 104 covering at least the connecting part, and a ceramic encircling member 105 covering at least part of the metallic encircling member. Coefficients of thermal expansion at operating temperatures are set to increase in the order of the ceramic encircling member 105, the ceramic tubular member 102, the metallic tubular member 112, and the metallic encircling member 104. At operating temperatures, the metallic encircling member 104 adheres to the ceramic tubular member 102 and the metallic tubular member 112, and the ceramic encircling member 105 adheres to the metallic encircling member 104, thereby sealing the connecting part.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane reactor for obtaining synthesis gas having about 2 H
      2 /CO molar ratio while avoiding that the size of a plant is made larger and the cost is increased.
      SOLUTION: This membrane reactor contains a main body 1, a first region 3 which is formed in the body 1, has a gas supplying port 4 and a discharge port 5 and is divided by a partition wall containing a tube-structured part 2 at least a part of that is formed by using an oxygen-permeable membrane and a second region 6 which is also formed in the body 1, has a gas supplying port 7 and a discharge port 8 and is separated from the region 3 by the partition wall. This apparatus is constituted so that the oxygen, which is contained in the oxygen-containing gas to be supplied to one of the regions 3 and 6, permeated through the oxygen-permeable membrane and made to flow in the other of the regions 3 and 6 can be reacted with the gaseous raw material to be supplied to the other of the regions 3 and 6 together with steam.
