    • A signal transmission system has a modulation signal converter 1 that generates a modulation signal using a Manchester code with a duty ratio of 50% in accordance with transmission data; a clock generator 6 that generates a clock with the amount of delay with respect to the rising or falling edge of the modulation signal; and a data detector 5 that generates received data by sampling the modulation signal in synchronization with the clock. Since the modulation signal converter 1 generates the modulation signal by combining the Manchester code with the duty ratio of 50%, its duty ratio is always 50% independently of the transmission data, thereby preventing the DC offset of the modulation signal on the receiving side. Accordingly, it offers an advantage of achieving good communication quality with a simple circuit configuration without producing the DC offset in the modulation signal on the receiving side.

    • A multiport amplifier and a wireless device using the same are obtained in which isolation among output terminals is improved, whereby the quality of communication is improved.
      The multiport amplifier according to this invention is provided with an input hybrid (3a), an output hybrid (3b), a plurality of amplifiers (7a through 7d) and a plurality of gain and phase control circuits (4a through 4d) that are inserted between the input hybrid (3a) and the output hybrid (3b), a plurality of output coupling circuits (8a through 8d) that are inserted between the output hybrid (3b) and a plurality of output terminals (9a through 9d) so that they receive output extraction signals (U1 through U4) corresponding to a plurality of output signals (O1 through O4), and a feedback circuit having a frequency selection circuit (13a) that is inserted between the plurality of output coupling circuits (8a through 8d) and the plurality of gain and phase control circuits (4a through 4d).
