    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switching device made small in size by shortening the dimension in drive shaft direction of a switch part and capable of manual operation with an appropriate opening and closing speed.
      SOLUTION: The switching device is constructed of a switch part 1 in which a fixed contactor 2 and a movable contactor 3 are arranged oppositely, a drive shaft 6 to drive the movable contactor 3, a closing spring 8 which is installed on the drive shaft 6 and by which a load works in a direction to make the movable contactor 3 pressure-contact the fixed contactor 2 in the closed pole state of both contactors 2, 3, and works in an opposite direction to the closed state in an open pole state, a lever 9 to drive the drive shaft 6, a main shaft 10 which is arranged in a rotation center of the lever 9 and rotates the lever 9, a movable iron core 12 which is fixed to the main shaft 10 and rotates together with the main shaft 10, and a fixed iron core 14 which is arranged oppositely to the movable iron core 12. Furthermore, a torsion bar 15 (elastic member) having a small spring constant than the input spring 8 is installed on the main shaft 10 for a manual operation purpose.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switching apparatus suppressing rush current such as excitation rush current of a transformer in a compact and simple structure. SOLUTION: The switching apparatus is provided with a main switch 40 with a main fixed contact 6 fixed and supported by a base 31, and a main moving contact 3 supported to be able to be revolved by the base 31 and brought into contact with and separated from the main fixed contact 6; a closing resistor switch 50 with a closing resistor fixed contact 25 fixed and supported by the base 31, and a closing resistor moving contact 24 fixed to the main moving contact 3 and brought into contact with and separated from the closing resistor fixed contact 25 by being revolved with the main moving contact 3; and a closing resistor 1 which is fixed and supported by the main moving contact 3 and inserted and connected between the main moving contact 3 and the closing resistor fixed contact 24. The switching apparatus closes the closing resistor switch 50 before the main switch 40 is closed.
