    • PURPOSE:To decrease the crosstalk without lowering the efficiency of an erasing head by nearly equalizing the product of the magnetic resistance of a center core and the magnetic resistance of a route arriving directly at a recording and reproducing core through the outside of a head from the signal of a medium on an erasing gap and the product of the magnetic resistance of a part where the erasing core and the erasing back core are jointed and the magnetic resistance of a recording and reproducing gap part. CONSTITUTION:PHI4 is a magnetic flux returning to Vm by passing the recording and reproducing gap part Rg, the recording and reproducing core part Rr and the erasing core part Re from the signal Vm of the medium on the erasing gap and the caption number 6 is a magnetic flux returning to Vm by passing the center core Rc, the recording and reproducing part Rr and the outside part Ro of the head from the signal Vm of the medium. The magnetic flux PHI flowing in the recording and reproducing core part Rr is a synthesized one of PHI4 and PHI6 and corresponds to the crosstalk which is given by equation I. The polarity of the crosstalk inverts from positive to negative and the efficiency of the erasing head lowers if the magnetic resistance Re of the erasing back core part is increased. The zero crosstalks are realized near the magnetic resistance Re by satisfying equation II.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic head capable of suppressing cross talk without providing a dedicated circuit for suppressing cross talk due to an erase gap at the time of read. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux change due to recording information of a recording medium is received by a read/write gap 2, and hence an output voltage V0 is generated between both taps 10a and 10b of a read/write coil 10 and is detected by a read/write circuit 13, so that the recording information of the recording medium is read out. On the other hand, magnetic flux by the recording information of the recording medium is generated by the erase gap 3, whereas a current is conducted in a short-circuit coil part of a erase coil 11 by this magnetic flux, and magnetic flux is generated to cancel a magnetic flux change due to the erase gap 3. As a result, magnetic flux in the erase core 7 is decreased, and a cross talk output voltage generated on the read/write coil 10 is very small, so that the readout can be carried out with good accuracy.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to attach dust to a body under test under the state close to actual use by placing the device under test into a low-pressure tightly-sealed container, and making the air containing the dust in an environment for investigation, flow into the container. CONSTITUTION:A body under test 4 is contained in a tightly closed container 1, and the container is sealed. A vacuum pump 10 is operated. Then, an air release valve 8 is opened, and the inside of the container 1 is evacuated to the specified atmospheric pressure. Thereafter, the air release valve 8 is closed, and the flow of the air in the container 1 is stopped. Then, a dust material container 3 containing a dust sample is made to approach an air nozzle 6. An air intake valve 5 is opened, and the pressure in the container 1 is returned to the atmospheric pressure. The sample 2 is injected into the container together with the sample 2. As a result, the dust is uniformly dispersed in the air even if the amount of the sample is very small. The dust is deposited to the bottom part of the inside of the container 1 approximately uniformly. When the inside of the container 1 becomes the atmospheric pressure, the valve 5 is closed. The container is left alone for about 5 minutes, and the dust is attached. After the air in the container 1 is sufficiently stabilized, the body under test 4 is taken out. Thus, the dust can be attached to the body under test with excellent reproducibility.
