摘要： The invention relates to a method for packet switched data transmission in a local network, the local network comprising a mobile node and a plurality of interconnected connection anchor points each with a link at which the mobile node can attach. The method comprises the steps of detecting a movement of the mobile node from a first connection anchor point to a second connection anchor point, the mobile node communicating via a tunnelled connection between the first and second connection anchor point, maintaining the existing tunnelled connections between the second connection anchor point and the first connection anchor point, and enabling new connections between the mobile node and correspondent nodes using addresses that are topologically correct.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for configuring a global network-layer address of a mobile node in a network with multiple networks access entities. The MN attaches to the network and utilizes a link-local address for communicating with the network. The MN is connected to a router, which is connected to the multiple network access entities and includes a list, comprising prefix and performance information on each network access entity. To expedite the address configuration of the MN, the router is enabled to generate a global network-layer address configuration message for the MN without prior reception of a router solicitation message from the MN. Furthermore, said configured address is based on the most preferable network access entity in the network, by providing said updated list and selecting the best network access entity. Further, the invention relates to a router, network access entity and system implementing the respective methods.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for managing the mobility of a mobile node that moves to a different network, but keeps the same IP address. It is proposed to perform route optimization by a Proxy MIP agent on behalf of the MN, thereby shortening the data-path while allowing network-based mobility. At session setup with a correspondent node, the PCC system in the home network decides whether route optimization is to be performed for the communication session. The PMIPa requests relevant information for the route optimization, including the decision for route optimization and the addresses of MN and CN, from the PCC system in the home network, when the MN attaches to the new network area. Accordingly, route optimization is performed by using the Return Routability Procedure according to MIPv6, thereby applying the MN's IP address as Home Address, and the PMIPa's address as Care-of Address of the MN.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for managing mobility of a mobile node, which is registered to a subset of network access entities (NAE). A location update is necessary because the MN moves from a first network area served by the first router to a second network area served by the second router, keeping the same IP addresses. In response to a trigger from the MN, the second router requests from the first router information on the registered NAEs, before they are informed to route data, destined for the mobile node, to the second router. Furthermore, the global IP addresses of the MN, created based on the prefixes of the registered NAEs, are updated. To expedite the address configuration after handover, the second router generates a IP address configuration message for the MN, comprising address prefixes of only the registered NAEs, without prior reception of a router solicitation message.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for fast configuring of a default router for a mobile node in a mobile communication system. A default router is used by a mobile node to transmit outgoing data to. The mobile node moves from a first to a second network area, which are respectively connected to a first and second router. In order to update the default router, after changing an attachment of the mobile node to the network, the new second router is adapted to transmit a notification to the mobile node, for changing its default router to the new router. According to the invention, the second router may also transmit a message to inform the mobile node about an expiration of the old first router. The new router may also send a message, including an indication about a new first-hop router for the outgoing data of the mobile node.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for reducing the header size of data packets exchanged between a Mobile Node (MN) and a gateway that is located between the MN and a Corresponding Node (CN). Different sort of headers are utilized between the MN and the gateway, and between the gateway and the CN. The sort of header, obtained by an optimizing procedure, allows to reduce the header size of exchanged packets on said data path section. To achieve this, a modified route optimization (RO) process is performed between the MN and the gateway, wherein the gateway acts on behalf of the CN. After completing the first RO process, the MN initiates and performs a second RO process with the gateway acting as CN. After completing both route optimization processes, data packet transmission is performed between the CN and the gateway after switching from IPsec tunnel mode to IPsec transport mode.
