    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely clamp a disk by elastically pressing the disk against a turntable with a disk holding member which is turnably held by a cylindrical groove part of the turntable, together with an elastic member. SOLUTION: Three disk holding members 6 are held via their rotary axes (e) by the cylindrical groove part (a) of a recessed part of the turntable 2. Then, the elastic member 7 formed out of a rubber such as silicon rubber in a cross-sectional circular shape is provided between the disk holding member 6 and the turntable 2, to elastically press the disk against the turntable 2 in the radial direction. When the disk is inserted into a clamp hole, the disk holding member 6 is turned around the rotary axis to the outer circumferential side, and the disk is elastically pressed toward the mounting surface in the radial direction, so that the disk can surely be clamped. Moreover, by setting the length of the disk holding member 6 in the projecting direction of a pressing surface longer than the thickness of the disk, the disk is surely brought into contact with the clamp hole, and the device is made thin.

The inner periphery detection sensor 9 is provided with a detection sensor 9a and a part to be detected 9b to detect arriving of the optical pickup 8 at the innermost periphery of the optical disk. The detection sensor 9a is provided adjacently to the spindle motor 2 on a side facing the optical pickup 8. The part to be detected 9b is provided at the pickup 8 facing the detection sensor 9a.

The base 1 fixes the positions of the transfer mechanism, and a prescribed position between the flexible section 10b of the FPC 10 and the terminal 10a.
