    • The object of the invention is to provide a novel combustion chamber which has an improved air supply and also ensures an optimum incident flow to the burners when the mass flows of cooling and combustion air are different. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the at least one cooling duct (10) is extended right into the plenum (13) and is formed inside the plenum (13) as a diffuser (14) having an orifice (12) leading into the plenum (13). The at least one opening (15, 15') in the burner dome (4) is arranged in the region of the diffuser (14) or directly downstream of its orifice (12). A bypass duct (16, 16') having an orifice (17, 17') leading into the plenum (13) follows downstream of each opening (15, 15'). The orifice (17, 17') of each bypass duct (16, 16') is oriented at least approximately in parallel with the orifice (12) of the diffuser (14) and is also designed so as to be offset step-like to the outside. Each bypass duct (16, 16') is provided with a pressure-regulating device (18, 18').

    • A novel combined pressure atomizing nozzle for gas-turbine burners is provided, with which an improved adaptation of the atomizing quality of liquids to the respective load conditions, i.e. good premixing over the entire load range, can be realized.     • A premix burner arrangement with catalytic combustion provides a fuel/air mixture to a combustion chamber of a gas turbine arrangement. The premix burner arrangement includes a premix burner, at least one fuel addition unit, and air inlet openings arranged in such a way that at least one of gaseous and liquid fuel can be mixed with combustion inlet air inside the premix burner to form a fuel/air mixture. The fuel/air mixture exits from the premix burner downstream in the direction towards a combustion chamber positioned after the premix burner arrangement and can be ignited inside the combustion chamber. A catalyzer unit is provided before the entrance of the fuel/air mixture into the combustion chamber. Part of the fuel/air mixture can be introduced into and passed through the catalyzer unit before the catalyzed part of the fuel/air mixture flows together with the remaining portion of the fuel/air mixture into the combustion chamber.

    • In a firing installation which is designed to minimize the pollutant emissions during the use of both a liquid and a gaseous fuel, an annular chamber (12) is arranged downstream of a first combustion stage (1) on the head side of a second combustion stage (2) arranged downstream. The combustion air (115) for the burner (100) is likewise a mixture (6) of air (3) and recycled flue gas (4).
