摘要： A parachute rescue device (3) has parachutes (13) whose lines are formed by parachute rods (37) or arrangements of rods and cords (92). These spring-elastic rods (37) serve for deploying the parachutes (13) at standstill already. The canopy (25) may also be deployed by such rods (29). The rescue device (3) may furthermore comprise two such parachutes that are attached to a carrier system (7, 11) and inclined away from each other. The parachutes (13) are attached to the carrier system (1, 11) rotatably about their longitudinal axes and their canopies (25) are e.g. composed of segments (53) one edge (56) of each of which is only loosely connected to the rod structure (29). The air escaping through the thus created openings (57) may apply an autorotating motion to the parachutes (13) while tilting the parachutes allows steering the fall.
