    • A feedback driving system for a flat lamp, the feedback driving system including a driving circuit which supplies driving power to a flat lamp; a sensing unit which measures power applied to the flat lamp; and a control unit which analyzes the measured value from the sensing unit, and when it is analyzed that the flat lamp is to change into a discharge contraction state or partial discharge state, controls the driving circuit such that the power applied to the flat lamp is maintained at a predetermined value. The feedback driving system, which feedback-controls the driving circuit by measuring a voltage applied to the flat lamp or a current flowing through the flat lamp, can maintain the power applied to the flat lamp within a predetermined range such that the flat lamp does not change into the discharge contraction state or partial discharge state, but can maintain the glow discharge.
