摘要： In a vane pump, a pump housing assembly contains a cam ring having an internal cam surface. A rotor carrying plural vanes is disposed within the cam ring and rotated by a drive shaft. Both end surfaces of the cam ring contact with a pair of flat contact surfaces formed within the pump housing assembly, respectively, and the vanes define plural pump sectors between the rotor and the cam ring, together with the rotor, the cam ring and the pair of contact surfaces. The contact surfaces are formed with a pair of intake ports and a pair of exhaust ports. Furthermore, one of the contact surfaces is provided with a pair of pressure leaking grooves formed at locations between the intake ports and the exhaust ports. The locations of the pressure leaking grooves are chosen so as to leak fluid in pump sectors communicating with the exhaust ports to adjacent pump sectors communicating with the intake ports through passages formed by the pressure leaking grooves and the side edges of vanes located between the two pump sectors whenever the instantaneous pressure of the fluid in the exhaust ports approaches an instantaneous maximum pressure. With this operation, the instantaneous maximum pressure is decreased, thereby the amplitude of the pressure pulsation being reduced.

摘要： A mica tape comprising a mica foil, a glass cloth, and an inorganic filler arranged on the glass cloth, wherein the mica tape is wound a plurality of times about an outer circumferential surface of a conductor portion of an electrical rotating machine coil so as to form an insulating layer for the coil, and the inorganic filler has a Mohs hardness falling within a range of 1 to 7 and exhibits a heat conductivity superior to those of the mica foil and the glass cloth, whereby, the inorganic filler is excellent in the heat conductivity and has a Mohs hardness not lower than that of the glass cloth contained in the mica tape, when used together with the inorganic filler.

摘要： According to one embodiment, there is provided a rotating electrical machine including a core, a coil extending from the core, and an electromagnetic shield which is provided outside the core, and has a plurality of shoulders projecting toward the coil. The coil includes an insulator covering outside of a conductor, a resistance layer formed on a surface of the insulator and contacting the core, and at least one potential grading layer formed on a surface of the insulator adjacent to the resistance layer. A boundary between the resistance layer and potential grading layer is provided at a position farther from the core than a point on a surface of the coil, where a distance between the coil and a shoulder of the electromagnetic shield closest to the core is the shortest.

摘要： An electric connector of the snap-in-fitting system comprises a couple of male and female connector members both made of an electrically-conductive material. The female connector member has a female engaging part or outer ring part for snap-in-fitting and the male connector member has a male engaging part or outer ring part to be fitted in and engaged with the female engaging part by snap-in-fitting. The interaction part in snap-in-fitting of the male engaging part and the female engaging part is an inclined engaging surface and adapted to apply load to the female engaging part so as to always urge the female engaging part outward. Preferably, the inclined engaging surface is a tapered surface convergent toward the male connector member side. Such an electric connector of the snap-in-fitting system is useful for the connection of a storage power supply unit of an electric vehicle and of a battery unit of a portable type electronic device, particularly an ultra capacitor or a storage cell (capacitor cell) of a battery.
