摘要： A hierarchical object recognition method for aggregation, interpretation and classification of information from multiple sensor sources on the detection feature attribute level. The system extracts information derived from each sensor source to obtain detections and their feature attributes. At least two processing streams, one for each sensor source, are provided for converting the detections and their feature attributes into hypotheses on identity and class of detected objects. The detections are shared and combined between the two processing streams using hierarchical information fusion algorithms to determine which ones of the hypotheses on identity and class of detected objects have sufficient probabilities for classifying the information.

摘要： A hybrid rectifier that works as either a hybrid full bridge or a voltage doubler. Under 220 V AC input condition, the hybrid rectifier operates in full bridge mode, while at 110 V AC input, it operates as voltage doubler rectifier. The hybrid rectifier may be used with a DC-DC converter, such as an LLC resonant converter, in a power supply. With this mode switching, the LLC converter resonant tank design only takes consideration of 220 V AC input case, such that the required operational input voltage range is reduced, and the efficiency of the LLC converter is optimized. Both the size and power loss are reduced by using a single stage structure instead of the conventional two-stage configuration.

摘要： A method and system for video-content based retrieval is described. A query video depicting an activity is processed using interest point selection to find locations in the video that are relevant to that activity. A set of spatio-temporal descriptors such as self-similarity and 3-D SIFT are calculated within a local neighborhood of the set of interest points. An indexed video database containing videos similar to the query video is searched using the set of descriptors to obtain a set of candidate videos. The videos in the video database are indexed hierarchically using a vocabulary tree or other hierarchical indexing mechanism.
