摘要： A thermosetting coating or adhesive composition based on (A) at least one component selected from the group consisting of oligomeric and polymeric compounds containing at least one of the functional groups hydroxyl and epoxy groups, and (B) a polycarboxylic acid mixture comprising trimellitic acid and a major amount of at least one compound of one of the formulae ##STR1## wherein R, R' and R'", being the same or different, each represents a di- to hexavalent hydrocarbon radical having a total of from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, said radical containing from zero to 2 olefinic double bonds, said radical without double bonds being interrupted by up to 3 ether bridges:x and y which may be the same or different, each represents an integer of from 2 to 6;t an integer of from 1 to 5; andz and u, which may be the same or different, each represents zero or an integer of from 1 to 5 and a process for coating a substrate with said composition.

C., a flow time of from 20 to 600 s at 160.degree. C., and a gel time of from 35 to 1,200 s at 160.degree. C. and an article coated with said composition.

摘要： A process for the preparation of modified N,N'-substituted-2,4,5-triketoimidazolidines which comprises reacting a precondensate having terminal isocyanate groups, prepared by reacting (a) a polybasic carboxylic acid, containing from 4 to 70 carbon atoms and from 2 to 6 carboxyl groups, with an excess of (b) one or more isocyanates or isocyanate forming compounds in the presence of a solvent, with (c) at least one oxamidic ester containing the group NH--CO--CO--OR.sup.v wherein R.sup.v represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing up to 18 carbon atoms, a cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon group containing up to 8 carbon atoms or a mononuclear aromatic hydrocarbon group being unsubstituted or substituted by at least one hydrocarbon group and having a total of up to 14 carbon atoms in the presence of a solvent, a product prepared by said process and a shaped article comprising such a product.
