    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical structure and a forming mold used for manufacturing the cylindrical structure.
      SOLUTION: The forming mold for forming the cylindrical structure having an extending axis includes a first portion wherein at least three or more segment plates are stacked in the direction of the extending axis. Each segment plate includes a through-hole, and the through-hole has a polygonal shape with at least three corners viewed from the direction of the extending axis. By stacking the respective segment plates in the direction of the extending axis, the through-holes are communicated with each other, and a first storage part is formed in the first portion. Each segment plate is arranged so that at least one corner of the through-hole of the segment plate is not overlapped with the corner of the through-hole of the adjacent segment plate in the direction of the extending axis.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining a silicon nitride base ceramic member capable of significantly suppressing a defect of a joined part and also capable of obtaining a relatively homogeneous joined body.
      SOLUTION: The method has (a) a step of preparing a first raw material containing silicon particles, (b) a step of forming a formed body from the first raw material, (c) a step of subjecting the silicon particles in the formed body to a reaction sintering treatment by holding the formed body in one temperature in a range of 1,100-1,450°C under a nitrogen atmosphere, (d) a step of preparing a second raw material similar as the first raw material, (e) a step of preparing a slurry from the second raw material, (f) a step of forming a joining material by injecting the slurry at a gap of the joining members to each other where the joining material is formed thereafter, and (g) a step of subjecting the silicon particles in the formed body to the reaction sintering treatment by the reaction sintering treatment similiar to the step (c).
